Would you like to learn how to refinish /refurbish a special piece of furniture for your private home? We have GIFT CERTIFICATES for you or your loved ones for painting classes & paint products to be used at their leisure. Do you know someone who could benefit from a relaxed atmosphere filled with fun, taught by professional instructors? Please send your loved ones and friends our way, so we can make them happy! ! !

Additional Information:
We refurbish & refresh furniture & household décor. We find unwanted, outdated furniture and use paint and refreshing techniques to transform old to new one-of-a-kind treasures. We also transform new to look old and vintage.
Question asked most often:
Where do we find our furniture?
We find it everywhere, everyday by hard work. We pass on a lot of furniture that does not meet our standards. We would be silly to give our exact sources for our special finds because we love what we do and want to continue.
Policies:
1. THOVG has a no return policy on furniture or salvage. Make sure you love it , before you buy it.
2. THOVG has a no return policy on paint or products. Some paint and products can be exchanged.
3. It is our policy @THOVG to make sure that the furniture has been repaired to the best of our ability (unless specified). It is understood by all parties that the furniture is 2nd hand. Each piece has its own flaws and we like to call that unique character & charm.
4. If THOVG refinishes a custom piece of furniture for you and we have followed all your instructions as far as color /distressing techniques and you are not satisfied, we will re-paint, but at an additional cost.
5. We are not responsible for any damage to your furniture once it has been paid for.
6. THOVG accepts cash, credit cards (Visa, MasterCard) and Direct Debit. On line e-transfers can be arranged.
Custom Furniture Orders:
THOVG accepts custom orders. We can transform your old tired furniture. We can also take new furniture and transform it into old and vintage in flavor. THOVG only uses high quality paints & finish products. All furniture is hand painted. Our quotes include prep work, paint, distressing or refreshing, topcoats and minor repair work.

Join us for an afternoon out! In this 3+ Hour Class you will learn about Fusion Mineral Paint. You will need to bring your own small project for class. Small includes anything you can carry in by yourself. We had an excellent private workshop today with Judy. We completed 3 projects - learned the basics of painting concrete, wood and glass! Love our treasures...the class and all her products are very good value and I can't wait for the next workshop.

Just discovered milk paint and the House of Van Gogh. After meeting Judy, her passion for painting and creating had my head spinning with how I can make my projects better and how much there is to learn. I left with one of every colour all the tools I needed to get started (mom of 3 wee ones who does't get out much, but always has a project on the go), and the encouragement to go with it and have fun!. Looking forward to taking her classes.

I took one of Judy's chalk painting classes and I've fallen in love shabby chic furniture. Judy has an enchanting, beautiful personality and is a delightful instructor. Her energy and passion is contagious. I enjoyed her class so much that I gathered 8 friends and returned for a fun, private class. I would recommend the House of Van Gogh to everyone.

I took one of Judy's chalk painting classes and I've fallen in love shabby chic furniture. Judy has an enchanting, beautiful personality and is a delightful instructor. Her energy and passion is contagious. I enjoyed her class so much that I gathered 8 friends and returned for a fun, private class. I would recommend the House of Van Gogh to everyone.
I recently went to the house of van gogh and loved it. I can hardly wait to take one of Judy's courses and breathe new life into old pieces. If you haven't checked out her shop, please do. And by the way, be prepared to have fun and laugh a lot, Judy's way too much fun:')
I needed some "paint therapy" yesterday so I stopped in to see Judy. She was so welcoming and by the time I left I felt good again. She has such a warm and sincere approach to life.
I came into Judy's shop looking to buy milk paint and left with a wealth of knowledge! Judy was extremely helpful and answered all my questions. Cool shop with lots to see, I highly recommend going!
First time there today. Was recommended by a friend. First day I finally go Judy had just had just left for vacation, I did wait 2 weeks to go and see her. Loved her, loved the shop. I will recommend all my crafty crazies to her. Im sure I will see you soon.
