The Human Environment Group was founded on the principle that cooperation and communication are fundamental to the three pillars of sustainability.

The Human Environment Group (HEG) was established to offer consulting services focused on the human dimension of developing projects, including aspects such as environmental and social planning, impact assessment, management and monitoring. With strong foundations in natural and social sciences, our team provides an integrated and holistic approach to address the needs of industry, communities and various levels of government.

With offices in British Columbia and Alberta, our team has been involved in development projects throughout Canada as well as internationally, with projects in South America, Central Asia, Africa and the South Pacific

Internationally we have worked worldwide on projects in the natural resources and infrastructure sectors, including oil and gas, mining, power generation and transmission. We have completed projects throughout the Americas, Africa, Asia, Europe and Oceania. Our clients have included private sector companies and a variety of International Financial Institutions such as the World Bank Group, Inter-American Development Bank and the United Nation Development Program. We have lead and participated in a number of roles throughout the project cycle, from design through to implementation and from due diligences to supervision.
