I had my vintage 1948 engagement ring & wedding band resized here in 2013. They turned my rings from an 7 to a 3! I can't thank them enough for their fine work.

First time in the shop to replace a watch battery. Fantastic, friendly service from everyone there. Will recommend and will return!

Worst customer service experience I have ever had. My fiancee and I had just got engaged 2 days before and were so excited. He had the ring custom made in NZ but it needed to be sized. We walked into the shop so excited to get it sized so we could share the news and the lady looks at it and says Nope....it's not possible to size down that much. Can't be done. Why don't you just wear it on a different finger....I couldn't believe how rude , disrespectful and unwilling she was and to suggest wearing it on a different finger when it was our engagement ring. We walked right out and took it to an incredible jeweler, Designs by Manuel, and he helped us on the spot, drew it out how he was going to size it and put a rush on it so I could finally wear it. Will never take my business to The Karat Patch again.

I took 2 rather large watches in this morning to have the batteries replaced. Both ladies working at the time were extremely pleasant to deal with. Both watch batteries were done in just a few hours for $30 total.
I had read some reviews on here prior to dropping my watches off and was a little hesitant.. It's funny, people can sometimes complain about rude service, but you don't hear the retailer complaining about rude customers. It's a two way street. If you're rude, or demand unrealistic service, you are not likely going to have a pleasant experience.
I will definitely return for future purchases/repairs/batteries.

I went in to get a battery for my watch. I asked for how much it will be. The clark said " between $10~15, no more than that". So when I went there today and different girl said it was $20....Whaaat?
"Oh it was Tissot watch...the owner had to work on it." They are crooks. So I ended up paying for $20 for a battery... Don't go there.

Frank helped me design a ring from scratch. I used my own gold to save on the cost. He was a pleasure to work with.

Had a necklace in here to have a new chain put on it. The chain was 1 1/2 inches shorter then what i had asked for. When i brought it back the lady with an accent tried telling me that it was fine, she measured it where i couldn't see and said it was only 1/2 an inch shorter. She then tried telling me they would just put extensions on it for me in a different coloured gold. I then became upset telling her that it was their mistake and thus they need to fix it. I left it with them waiting to hear back from the jeweler. I had to call them and they said they would replace the chain. After a week or so i went back to pick up the necklace. The women there treated me horrible when i went in, giving me dirty looks and making rude comments even in front of other customers. Ridiculously unprofessional. The jeweler did a good job on the necklace but i will never go back there due to the way the women treated me. Can't believe they would keep people on like that working.

Frank at the Karat Patch had a custom ring made for me. We designed the ring right from the ground up. It was important to me that the original gold (that was sentimental) be reused. He was very professional through the entire process. He kept me up to date about the progress and explained to me what was happening every step of the way. I now have a beautifully engraved ring that even other jewelers in other jewelry stores are impressed with. I am extremely happy with the service I received and the beautiful one-of-a-kind ring Frank and I designed.
