Sometimes your favourite part of the meal is what comes before it. That’s why we serve our delicious bread and butter on the house to get the good times started.

Introducing our January feature, the Braised Beef Short Rib. Served with a port mushroom sauce over garlic leek mashed potatoes, they’re just what you need for the first month of winter.

Named after a famous stagecoach robber, our Billy Miner Pie has been stealing hearts since the moment we started serving it. With layers of chocolate crust, mocha ice cream, chocolate + caramel drizzle and toasted almonds, it’s hard to pick what we love most about it. If we had to, it would be celebrating with guests on birthdays, special occasions, or just because.

It’s not just the black peppercorn crust that takes this classic to the next level. We also serve this tender, flavourful cut with Whisky Sauce for an extra kick. Plus, we only use center cut steaks for the utmost of tenderness.

Thanksgiving’s just around the corner, and we’re celebrating by raising a glass to our great guests and Keggers.

It’s cheesy, it’s warm, and it’s our favourite way to welcome the first week of Fall.

Our Pistachio Salmon dish takes salmon to the next level. It’s coated in butter and crushed pistachios, and topped with our own blend of maple butter.

We had reservations for 6:30 for a corner booth. We showed up at 6:00 and were seated right away. Felt like royalty in that great big booth. Our server Alec was wonderful. Very friendly and knowledgeable. I like that he just brought me a variety of drinks �. :) Our guests were from Montreal and very outspoken but Alec just rolled with it and played along and we all had a wonderful time! The food was fantastic too! �

We had a great dinner there last night. Our waiter was Grant. I have to say, he was fabulous, personable, attentive and went out of his way to accommodate, please my 1 1/2 year old granddaughter. I would commend Grant on his attention to service. Oh and the steaks were amazing too!

We go here pretty much every year for our anniversary and love it here! We are coming back tomorrow.

Totally recommend! Not only was the food great but the service was unreal! Grant really made our night! He was super knowledgable and made us feel comfortable with our antsy 1.5 year old. He even brought her out snacks to keep her busy as well as replaced her crayons and paper when she soaked the table and was nothing but understanding when she made a mess at the table! We will be back here as a family and on date nights and we will be requesting Grant! We suggest you do the same for an unbelievably amazing dinner experience!

This place has the best food, waiters and wine at such a reasonable price! I had the salmon and my husband had the fillet mignon both were exquisite! Phill our server was so attentive. This is definitely the best meal we have had in Calgary! Thanks you

Never ever disappointed when we come here! As a previous employee it always amazes me how hard these servers work, but how they make your dining experience so enjoyable. Do yourself a favour, ask for Grant & tip generously... He is incredibly knowledgable with the menu, makes the evening wonderful & was awesome with our toddler (who spoiled date night for mom&dad but we survived!) we are Keggars for life!

Love going to the Keg. Not only is the food always great but so are the staff. We go with our two large services dogs and are always welcome.

Just had the BEST service at the Keg in south Calgary! Our waiter Rick was fantastic! But you know...so was everyone else! Every staff member had a smile on...everyone I interacted with was exceptional! Also love Love LOVE that the female waiters we able to wear the same uniform as the males. Fantastic overall experience - thanks to Rick and everyone else there tonight!

Its our first time in Keg and was fabulous and the steak we ordered taste so good. Never have the chance to ask the waiter's name who served us 100% quality and classy service he gave us. Thank you so much for making our dinner a wonderful one to remember.

I love this restaurant!!! The waiter (Brandon I think) was just wonderful.... The lobster was done to perfection. My hubby's prime rib was delicious also (he said). We are closer to the Red Deer location, but the Southpointe is a much better restaurant

Haven’t been to The Keg in a few years, as our last visit was hugely underwhelming. The Hub and I got a gift card for Christmas so last night we decided to use it. We had a fantastic night! Service was great, and the food was excellent. We will definitely keep it in mind the next time we are looking for a good steak!

Haven't been to the Keg in a long time due to a bad experience at MacLeod Trail location. So I thought I give 130th location a try. I'm glad I did, service was exceptional and the food was the best I had in a long time. I definitely will be back!!👍

Great service, amazing steak and large portions of salad and sides. Peppercorn steak still my favourite. Always a guarantee that’s it’s done to perfection!!

Excellent service food was delicious.

After having numerous poor experiences at this Keg location, we decided to give it one last shot (we had a gift card to use), and had all of our expectations surpassed in a very good way... we were seated immediately, and Trudy was an exceptional server who was professional and very friendly. She was there almost immediately to make sure we had water and got our ordered drinks in great time. Our food (baseball steak & full rack of ribs) were cooked exactly the way we requested, and delivered in a respectable time after having our bread and salad. Leftover boxes and bill were presented at just the right time, and it was a great romantic night out. Great job Keg & especially Trudy and the kitchen staff.

We went to the keg last night for our 5 year wedding anniversary. My husband unfortunately got a terrible cut of steak that he couldn't even cut through however the kitchen manager took it off the bill and gave us a free desert which was nice. Unfortunate my husband didn't get to enjoy a steak that he was looking forward to though

We had our 22nd wedding anniversary dinner there..August 25!!! Alex was our waiter.. fun guy, got down to our level when we ordered. Shared stories about his boys and wife... as well, we shared ours.. He helped create a memorable night. The food was fantastic. Steak was perfect, garlic mashed potatoes. .hmmmm getting hungry again� thankyou Keg!!!

Valentines Day and no reservation. We were quoted 45-60 minutes, but were seated in approx. 25 minutes. Pleasant server. Drinks were fabulous... kudos to the bartender. Prime Rib Sliders, Mushrooms Neptune, and Dessert was amazing. Our Baked Garlic Shrimp was overcooked. We never brought it to the attention of our server as we were quite hungry. All in all a great night.
