Our server was great, friendly kept our drinks topped up and took our order as we were ready. We took out time had appies and drinks then ordered our meals.



Food was fantastic and prompt.



Only thing I found is that is was loud. Other than that all it was amazing.

We’re on a tour through this amazing country & meeting great locals. We dined at the Keg last night and thoroughly enjoyed the service and food. All the staff are very attentive and the food was bang on.

The table manager also calls round to find out if your happy with your meal & general chit chat about your travels etc, and we were delighted to receive a complimentary yummy house specialty dessert.

And I now see on FB that new friends that we made on this tour have dined with you today.

We visit several times a year. The downtown location we did tonight for our 19th Anniversary, which we do every year. Incredible food, service, atmosphere, pricing. Affordable for such high quality. We are always impressed. Negative reviews I read here are so wrong....as give them your feedback and they go above and beyond to make it right for you. 🤗💕

We often eat at The Keg restaurants for special occasions, and have found that the quality of service (friendly and efficient) and food (best steaks) to be consistent across their various locations, but The Keg downtown is a notch above the rest and has become our new favourite.



This was our first time at the 4th Avenue location and our experience exceeded our already high expectations. Our table was ready for us when we arrived (we always make reservations, but have run into delays waiting for our table to open up), our server, Jenn, was a pro and the food was beautifully executed.



Our server, Jenn, stood out because not only was she friendly, efficient, and knowledgeable, she mad a point of coming by our table shortly after the food was served to make sure that our meals were accurate and reflected the substitutions we'd requested. As someone who clearly enjoys her work, Jenn was on top of everything and around whenever we needed something.



In terms of the food, our meals are usually great, but last night my partner's baked potato was the best he'd ever had.



Our Valentine's Day dinner was perfect and the staff and food at this location helped make that possible.

Visited while the stampede was on, really busy. Food was usual keg high standard on 4th Ave Brittany has restaurant fine tuned. Hope to go again before we fly out back to the uk.

Tonight we visited The Keg on 4th downtown Calgary and received the best service we have ever had from a Keg restaurant. I ordered escargot, 8oz top sirloin cooked to medium, twice baked potato and added King crab. The cook on the steak was perfect and melt in your mouth. The king crab was cooked perfectly, not dry or overdone what so ever. My husband ordered Newyork striploin, medium well with twice baked potato and again it was perfect. What stood out to us was the service we received from Taylor. Taylor appreciated that we were not in a rush, he put took our drink orders, then put in our appetizer order. He spaced the meal out perfectly. I originally asked for the Inniskillin Riesling and Taylor suggested the Gewürztraminer. He then brought a sample of each wine to try. And he was right the Gewürztraminer paired much better with the steak. He checked on us the perfect number of times and did not hover. I am not sure if Taylor is pursuing or has completed post secondary education in hospitality but if he has not then perhaps he should consider it because this is clearly his forte. And The Keg restaurants need to seriously this man for management.

Our waiter was incredible, super friendly, and even gave us our dessert for free where it was our anniversary (we have never been offered that in the 11 years we have been to the keg celebrting) food was incredible to as always. Would 100% reccomend this place

Came to Calgary for my birthday weekend from Texas....stayed at the Westin the Keg is at the hotel. Had drinks at the bar this was Saturday nite 11.11.17..the staff was so wonderful! They were so awesome! Me and my friend had a great time...I just want to give a big "Thank You" not only to the staff, but the Manager of the bar too..You all made my birthday weekend one of the best!

Amazing dinner date with my husband...Sky our waitress was a phenomenal waitress...my hubby and I have been in the restaurant business for over 25 years and these type of servers are very rare to find now a days....you can 100% see the passion this great young lady has for her job....also the food was amazing & very much enjoyed by my hubby & myself!! We will definitely be back....

consistent simplicity with a twist of upscale for this Keg. I am not sure that I ever had an extra ordinary meal here, but I never had something bad. If you are hanging out with friends and need a space to carry out a conversation this is better than most.

The customer service manager Brittany went above and beyond to make sure I had a great birthday dinner. A few gaffes with my husbands dinner but they took care of it and bought me a drink and dessert.

My hubby and I were there to celebrate our 25th Anniversary. We were treated so well by all the staff and management. They even gave us a small bottle of champagne to toast with. :) It was a very special evening and we are glad we chose the Keg - 4th Ave to dine at. I would have given 5 stars but my hubby's chicken dish was raw. Everything else though was fabulous! Management quickly took care of it for us and adjusted the bill to reflect. When we are back in Calgary, we will be sure to dine here again!

My food was great and the service and welcome started well. I arrived on the early side for dinner and opted to sit at the bar. Two servers were there and both nice and welcoming.



After dinner I opted for dessert. This is where things went south. Took forever to get a bartenders attention to get a menu and just as long to order.



I almost took it as a hint that I didn't need dessert 😜 But none the less I stuck out the wait. My choice was worth it.



I was disappointed by the menu discriptions for dessert their desserts. Some said "hot fudge" and others said "chocolate syrup" any dessert lover knows there is a difference. All the desserts actually only came with chocolate syrup. I felt "meh" about this option.



Over all I would go back.

Steak was medium rare and I asked for Meduim, but it was so good I ate all of it. When telling our server he was not at all interested, but I would still go again.



They we're not at all busy so it concerns me that if they were busy what kind of service would we have gotten then we enjoyed a beautiful bottle of wine a great meal, for appetizers we had the world-famous keg escargot and they were amazing I just think our server is young and didn't really know how to take care of people other than that I would recommend it to anyone and the ambiance was amazing !

Service was good . Atmosphere was nice but to be fair the Food could have Been nicer .i had the keg Classic prime rib dinner I ordered the meat to be cooked to Medium but it was more Rare. The server offerd to have it more cooked for me but since I was hungry I said it's fine and the Garlic mash was Dry n hard on the outside . Overall it was ok but I have ate there many times before and the food was a lot better

Don't order a Keg Burger medium rare. They don't do anything but well done on a hamburger. The first night was very poor service. Totally night and day the next night. My service was excellent and the food was exactly what I expected. From the moment I sat down to the time my food was served took about 15 minutes. I was checked on several times to see how my food and drink was or if I needed anything else. He got a good tip.
