Sometimes your favourite part of the meal is what comes before it. That’s why we serve our delicious bread and butter on the house to get the good times started.

Introducing our January feature, the Braised Beef Short Rib. Served with a port mushroom sauce over garlic leek mashed potatoes, they’re just what you need for the first month of winter.

Named after a famous stagecoach robber, our Billy Miner Pie has been stealing hearts since the moment we started serving it. With layers of chocolate crust, mocha ice cream, chocolate + caramel drizzle and toasted almonds, it’s hard to pick what we love most about it. If we had to, it would be celebrating with guests on birthdays, special occasions, or just because.

Our Pistachio Salmon dish takes salmon to the next level. It’s coated in butter and crushed pistachios, and topped with our own blend of maple butter.

We had dinner here past night Josh was our server and he was AWESOME! made the whole experience that much better. Our steaks were both done perfectly the food was awesome and because it was our anniversary they treated us to dessert! Love the new keg!

This is my husband and my favorite date night place, whether with or without the kids it’s a great atmosphere and I can’t wait for you guys to reopen... we’re craving garlic cheese bread and delicious steak and amazing service.

Thank you for making our treat of a family night out on a Tuesday night worth every penny!! You made the kids feel special and attended to them before they had to ask. From drinks, appetizers to mains and dessert you made seamless transitions and great flow to the evening. Fantastic service all around!

Our server this evening was Stephanie King, I'll start off by saying our experience was nothing short of amazing. Stephanie was very knowledgeable about everything on the menu and was flawless in describing the meal, cut and wellness of the steak. What really blew my hair back was the fact when I told her I had a sore throat she recommended the perfect drink! A blueberry tea cocktail did the trick, I will definitely be returning and recommend the server along with the newly renovated establishment any time.

Our meals and service tonight was amazing. We will definitely be back. A definite must for date night! The atmosphere is outstanding; it has a surreal Vegas restaurant feel without the dinging of machines. Our server, a newbie to the industry, Matthew was one of the best we've had in GP in years. Thank you Keg for the best night

Our first time at the Keg since they renovated and it was amazing!! Our server (Matthew) was one of the most personable servers I have ever interacted with and he definitely knows how to do his job right! My husbands steak was a bit overcooked but the manager came over, apologized and took care of it- no questions asked! I think all restaurants should function like this! Thank you for a great dinner and we will definitely be back!

One of the best steaks I have had in a restaurant, well done Chefs!!



I chose to go down stairs as there was a line up for the upstairs , what a great option .



Nicole and another server bought me a birthday drink, Nicole or the Restaurant paid for a birthday dessert, neither of these freebies were asked for or expected, but thank you for that .

Myself and my two children went last night to the Keg and everything from the reservation, to the man who opened the door for us and the lady who seated us was great. The 5 stars however are for our waiter Josh. He was kind, efficient and cared about what he was doing. Honestly the best server I have had in GP or anywhere for that matter. He made my daughter feel like she was part of the fancy fun of the Keg & when my 18 month old cried a few times he didn’t treat us any different and even tried to talk to him and make him laugh. Thanks to everyone & keep up the good work Josh! �

I can’t think of enough positive adjectives to describe the Keg. We were traveling through and wanted a steak dinner after driving from Alaska and eating mediocre foods along the way. The host/ess were quick and efficient and super friendly! The wait staff was knowledgeable and friendly, accommodating and eager to please. Our server was esp quick, and efficient and prepared. She was personable and just wonderful to talk to. She was entertaining to our kiddos as well.

Our food was amazingly delicious and appealing to our visual senses. The atmosphere was relaxing and beautiful. We couldn’t be more please to recommend The Keg to our friends and family.

Brought my wife for her birthday to GP and visited the Keg... we found our server was excellent and very accommodating. The food was very good (wife's steak a little pink which she isn't crazy about)... the kids meal selections are great too. We both tried a mixed drink and they were both great... adding a free dessert for her birthday is super too. I love that you recognize it but don't overkill it with stupid songs. We will come back in the near future.

Second to the lounge hostess who accommodated our request for a more appropriate table size for our party. Lastly to our server at a wonderful corner booth upstairs, the service, food and evening was perfect.

A big shout out for the keg my family and I went out to the keg tonight and it was amazing and the food is great also. My favorite place we will be back again some other evening !

It was really busy tonight, and the food was quite slow, but our server and the manager mike? Unsure of his name, was doing everything he could to give us a good experience! The new bar area is nice, we appreciated the effort and service they gave us! Food was good as always!

Had a great night Saturday night. Food was awesome. We went downstairs. The worst thing was the wait and no where to sit. They should have put in some bench seating. It was nice that they had a cocktail server come for drinks but they should of just gave everyone there a complimentary drink while they wait. Great atmosphere and food. We will be back.

My daughter took me for my birthday, staff were great, the meal not so good, I had prime rib ordered it more well done than rare the plate was hot the food not, I was given the end cut but it was nothing but skin, sinue and fat, my daughter ordered the steak with crab, her crab was on my prime rib (I am allergic to fish and seafood), I ordered a margarita no ice, it came in a tall highball glass and maybe 2 fingers high, never had a drink like that before, not impressed not sure if I would do back

My friend celebrated his birthday last week and we found couple hair in our sangria! My chicken was super dry and couple of my friends who had primerib said they were not cooked the way they wanted them. Just not impressed.

I called this location last night to make a reservation for tonight (my birthday) because we live in Valleyview. We were told by the gentleman last night that no reservations were taken, it's all by walk-ins. So today we decide to call again and make a reservation and we're again told it was all by walkins and reservations were only for large parties. I explained that we were coming from Valleyview (an hour away) and was still told not to worry that we did not need a reservation and there would be tables available. I again asked for a reservation because it's a Friday and was told no. So my husband and I just arrived from Valleyview and surprise, surprise, it's a 1 hour wait at the door!!!!!!!!

My husband and I will never return to this location, and I doubt I will ever go to another keg location in the future due to this poor experience. Thanks for tuning my birthday The Keg Grande Prairie!
