About The King'S University Education Program

Faith-based teacher education program in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada.

The King'S University Education Program Description

Great teachers want to make a difference in the lives of their students. The kind of a difference you make, and its impact, can be affected by the quality of your teacher preparation program.

The elementary and secondary education after-degree programs at King's help students develop authentic connections between their faith and teaching practices. The innovative curriculum blends theory, reflective practices, lectures from highly qualified professors, and a 17-week teaching practicum to ensure graduates leave with highly practical and up-to-date teaching approaches.

Both the elementary and secondary after-degree programs are taught in a caring community. Students acquire the knowledge, skills, and attributes required of teachers today in a complex modern school environment. Graduates qualify for teacher certification in Alberta, across Canada and abroad.
