Last night our resort had a very interesting visitor! Thankfully, it was a quick visit without incident for our guests and for the bear. Our staff recently attended a Bear Aware session with Bow Valley WildSmart so they knew to quickly call Kananaskis Emergency Services (403-591-7755 - AB Fish & Wildlife) and have bear spray at the ready although we never thought we’d need those skills in our own lobby. We are ‘bear aware’ at The Lodges at Canmore so our three garbage rooms ...are secure and locked to prevent animals entering them Every Friday afternoon Wild Smart emails out a bear report, you will be able to find this at our front desk. We had a peaceful and an amazing two days here. Will be back again. Great view and pleasant staff.
Very nice place! Awsome that our accomodations had everything available for us!! Will definitly come back. Hopefully for a longer stay!!!
Stayed at a great condo here..great town and people. Would go back tomorrow if I could.
Neat and it is like you are at your own home. Definitely will go back again.

I have stayed here many times.. BEAUTIFUL lodges.. very friendly staff and the place is always clean.

Beautiful place to stay.
Very spacious, modern looking and nicely furnished, comfortable. It's great you can cook and do laundry in the suite! It's very quiet at night so I slept good too! There's lots of underground parking and an elevator in the building. Beautiful views of the mountains!
Unfortunately the pool was closed on June 1-2 when we were guests with grandchildren.
The suite was nicely appointed, spacious enough for 2 people. Our fireplace wasn't working, which was a disappointment but we did get breakfast vouchers as compensation.
See my post on the page. Not all services were functional and nobody cared to address the issue....very poor attitude towards customers...card keys don't work..need to swipe card umpteen time to open garage and building doors.
Disappointing. The decor was seventies style and downright ugly. The jacuzzi did not work. Not enough towels and they were small. No TV in the bedroom. No water pressure. It was small, and the living area furniture was horrendous. Why advertise an outdoor hot tub when it has not been working for ages.
