Delicious salmon eggs benedict.. amazing sauce eggs and potatoes.. it was kind of missing something like a fruit maybe.. got their grapefruit juice, it was good. Nice atmosphere with a lovely rustic setting, very confy and nice. Service was okay not the best, bartender was a bit stiff, girl by the entrance was just rude.

Amazing place! Excellent location, atmosphere, attention and food. The waitress was super nice and very patient, we went with 4 children and they delivered the food first and then they helped us so that we enjoyed our delicious meal. Highly recommended! 5 ⭐️

I would like to thank the Maple Leaf for being adaptable for my dinner last night. I was a little disappointed when looking at the menu that my options for meat- free food were limited to a single dish (gnocchi) which I didn't particularly feel like, or a starter salad and a side.
However I liked the sound of everything that accompanied the Trout dish... So I asked if I could possibly have the trout without the fish, and switch it out for a side of roasted mushrooms instead. Our waiter pleasantly complied, and WOW was it delicious!!
Actually one of the best meals I have had in quite a while. Really lovely, tender and flavoursome roasted veges, creamy mash, and lots of mushrooms to fill out the dish.
Seriously guys, if you happen to read these reviews, I strongly recommend adding this to the menu as a great veg option for your customers.

The food was good and our server so nice. Our problem was that our drinks took 20 mins, we got our food before our drinks.
The manager didn't seem to really care, then when he came back he asked us if everything was okay, and before we could respond he was already turned around and leaving.
They were steady but not crazy busy.

Overall, food is good and servers are nice but the service is slow IMO.

Service was good, no complaints. Food tasted great and didn't take too long. I know it's Banff and a higher end restaurant but the prices I find are just not in line with the quality and quantity of the food (or drink).

We had a group of 4 and everyone liked their meals (cod, New York, chicken and gnocchi).

Really not much else to say. Good to try once I guess.

The maple salmon was quite good. The halibut was AMAZING!

Beautiful and delicious! It's upscale and a bit pricey but if you're tourists you'll get an amazingly Banff-ian experience. Ask to sit upstairs by a window for good people watching and if you want attentive, friendly, personalized service ask for Jacky.

I would give this restaurant a 3.7/5. The inside is very nice, the menu is nice and the food tasted very good. My boyfriend really enjoyed the fish and chips. The reason they lost points was due to their service. When we walked in there was this girl who looked like a young child, was siping on a pop, and wearing what appeared to be some sort of black lingerie/nightgown thing. We were so confused as to if this person was a customer, a child of the owner, or a staff member. Reluctantly we followed her as she directed us to the bar while we waited for a table to open up. We saw this girl walking around the restaurant and felt that if she was a staff, her presence was devaluing the experience of the restaurant as it just appeared very unprofessional. Our waitress was also just satisfactory. She could have been more friendly. For these reasons the restaurant lost points from us. I would still recommend this restaurant just because given the right staff I believe this restaurant could be enjoyed more than what we experienced.

My hubby and I went there one late evening for dinner instead of driving over to the Fairmont for dinner. BEST DECISION EVER. We had the special which was perfectly portioned. The bartender, who was also our server that quiet evening made perfect drinks, was VERY friendly. He dressed very well for an older gentleman. But drinks were consistent and better than expected. The atmosphere was perfect and very relaxing. 12/10. would most certainly recommend and will be going every time I go anywhere near Banff.

Expected better service for what we were paying. Staff were inattentive from all angles. An upstairs Waitress answered the phone half way through taking our coats and arranging our table.
The establishment was quiet yet our waitress darted off and was usually nowhere to be seen, When we paid the bill the eftpos machine was left with us and not collected, we left it on the table on our way out because we were tired of waiting for her to come back.
It's obvious as to why this place was dead for a Saturday night. Good luck !

Thinking back to my dining week in Banff, I point to this place as the one that put me over the edge and convinced me that Banff can be a great dining destination. Our Party of four adults each got something different and each dish was prepared perfectly with respect to presentation, scent and taste. You know it is a great dining experience when you lose track of time and everything comes together to make a memorable evening. It is a pricier option in Banff, but it is not to be missed!

Good, not great. I liked the food and the drinks were nice, but it was quite over priced in my opinion. Sure I would go back but it wouldn't be my first choice. When will Banff businesses realize a beautiful location is not a free pass!? :) Still it was good.

This is a fancy place. Food is next level but also pretty pricey. This would be a five-star review, but a member of our party had their coat taken because of the lack of a proper coat tag system.
