Tucked away in a quiet corner of Kensington is The Naked Leaf. Dedicated to bringing Calgary the best teas from around the world, the shop is full of everything that you need if you are a true tea lover. From delicate tea sets from European craftsmen to traditional tea cups from Japan, the store is full of an enticing array of tea items. There is also one wall where customers can open up small containers that have samples of the teas that the store sells. Customers can see and smell the tea product as they are instructed by Jonathan on how best to brew each type of tea. The store has a number of their own creations available for purchase such as the licorice tea flavour and the standard house brand.

There is also a small seating area where people can enjoy a smooth cup of tea in front of the fire. It’s a great trip for a cold winter day.

Authentic tea shop in town. Great tea from all around the world. And beautiful tea wares. A great place to get away from the busyness of the city.

Their Milky Oolong is the best I've found in Calgary so far - cute little shop in the heart of Kensington. A must try!

Absolutely love this place! The Kombucha is always the best part of any day. Plus they have tonnes of tea and the staff are always so helpful and nice.

This place has a really neat selection of good teas - always something unusual to be found. Apart from teas, you can also find tea accessories, special chocolates and unique tea tins. The owner is also very friendly!

Great selection. Friendly service. A quiet place to enjoy a tea on your own or with a friend. The tins for purchasing tea all have local art on them. The only thing I'd like to see improved is accessibility. The toilet is placed on a higher level (about 8-12 inches above the main floor). It would not be possible to transfer to the toilet if an individual is a wheelchair user. There is no street front accessibility options for wheelchair users - only stairs to get to this lower level location.
