The Oak Room

Came here as part of the lunch package from the RandR spa. Was given options of a Ceasar Salad, Chicken Cobb Salad, Salmon Poke and a vegan gluten free option. Had the Chicken Cobb Salas. Took 40 mins to finallly get my salad and it came out without any dressing. Took another 15 mins to get my dressing from the waitress who was just chatting with a customer for a long time. The dressing that I finally got was literally just a squeeze from honey mustard that you can get it from Safeway. Amazing experience.

Love the service here, the food is pretty good. A bit on the expensive side but that is to be expected for an establishment such as this one. Amazing cocktails - their moscow mule and mojitos are something you must try.

Overpriced, extremely slow service. Mandatory gratuity for larger groups

I had brunch with my wife and sister today at the RimRock restaurant in the @Fairmont_PAL Hotel in downtown Calgary. The cook making our omelettes dropped his spatula on the floor, then continued using it. We couldn't believe this happened in such a refined, grand old hotel! :-(
