Very expensive drinks and not great selection. Venue sound is iffy. Lots of different awesome views to be had. Security is tight on entry but lax once your inside so prepare to get killed by crowd surfers if it's that kind of show.

I love this place. The building has more character than any other club in the city and the staff is great! It can be a bit hot and crowded though. I wish they had a better food selection. Even a hotdog cart outside or something would help.

Tonight I watched the bouncers at the front door do the "smile and nod" for like 20mins while some drunk guy and his mouthy girlfriend were hurling insults and the guy was trying to fight them. How they didn't pummel the dude is beyond me. They had way more patience than I would have but I guess that's just part of the gig. Great job guys!

Myles and Palace Theater staff were amazing! My dad has stage 4 cancer incurable - so those who have experience family/friends with cancer you can relate to how hard it is to go through. My dad is turning 75 and for his birthday - hes good ole country boy - loves the Merle Haggards, George Jones, etc. When I heard Noel/Ben were playing I reached out to Myles explained my dad needed to be seated (I didn't know the Palace lay out as I have never been before). Myles - without even asking for anything said to me "you be here before doors open and I will ensure you get escorted and seated so your dad can enjoy the show".
I truly cannot explain what that means to my family. The show was a surprise - my dad and mom did not know what we were doing until we arrived. My dad just finished reading Merle's book and I tell you my dad was beside himself. Right to observing how much Noel and Ben resemble their dad in different ways. So fast forward ---- we got seated right by the stage. The show was amazing! After the show - Noel was making his way out to greet fans - and he was coming directly to meet my dad. Myles obviously told Ben/Noel about my dads situation. I am unsure but pretty sure there is no other way he would know. Fans were trying to talk to Noel, Noel was polite just told them "give me a minute" and walked up to my dad said he was sorry to hear about his situation. I took the picture of my dad and Noel and its a day my dad will never forget - neither will we (my husband, mom and myself) Noel whispered something to my dad that is between them and always will be.
So - THANK YOU MYLES AND PALACE THEATER AND THANK YOU NOEL AND BEN HAGGARD. Great to see that there are such awesome people out there and people that make a difference for anyone are up on pedestals in my books. I can't say anymore - probably said way too much already - can't thank you enough and people that meet Myles - pat him on the back and say good job - cause he deserves it!

I don't know who Miles knows in Vernon but thank you to that man for making my night so great! All the staff were super accommodating and friendly, definitely an experience to anyone passing through Calgary. 10/10 recommend!

Pretty good venue! The acoustics are great, and there are booths, a floor, and some seating on the second level. The drinks are pricey, but hey, it always is during concerts.

Awesome concert venue. Quite a few different options to suit every kind of concert goer (tables, booths, floor/pit, stands, balcony). Staff were very nice and helpful, and even kindly held onto something "forbidden" while we were in the concert (my buddy bought a garlic press on the way over).

I noticed someone has removed the review option from their Facebook page, usually not a good sign. Maybe start using criticism to improve your business and not run away from it.

This weekend was my first visit since the venue became The Palace Theatre. It feels like there has been a change in staff since the switchover, or maybe the new venue started fresh. I got the impression the staff cares more about their own fun than the customer. Rude / short tempered bartenders and I witnessed a "manager" scream in a very disrespectful way at a poor bus-boy.

My advice? Hire staff who are customer service focused and tell management to train employees or implement standards,

Love the shows that happen here. Great place for concerts and events. Recently saw Tea Party and they were amazing!
