Originally called Traveller (TRVLR), The Polar Remedy formed in the wake of a locally successful metal band called Rocky Mountain Massacre. After a disagreement, the band decided to branch out and do a more eclectic yet laid back style of music. With each members' individual influence adding to the melting pot, the genre that resulted is best described as alternative indie rock.

TPR's drummer Connor self-produced and recorded the band's first single titled "Home" and plans on recording their first full length album in October 2017 for a mid-November 2017 release window.

With each member of the band having a combined musical experience of over 30 years, they're no strangers to style, passion, and performance.
