The day after I went to the Pump and Tap, I went skiing on Sunshine mountain. I took a nasty spill, faceplanted into the snow and ice and slid about 10 feet. I was in immense pain, and by the pain and my lack of motor ability, I was genuinely concerned my leg was broken. I crawled back, screaming to my ski gear where my equally concerned friend was waiting. I palpated my leg to ensure it was not broken. I continued to swear and scream.
All in all, this was a considerably better experience than going to the Pump and Tap.
Swanky little joint in the basement. Wasn’t bad, wasn’t great. Got the vibe it was for locals only. One drink and we were out. Hope your experience is better. Could have just been an off day.
If you want a cheap beer, this is the place to go. That's about it. Might as well go to a liquor store.
Great place for a beer and an ice cold shot of Jager
Cheap drinks, fun times, and TERRIBLE service. Two bartenders and a server and who seemed like they would rather do anything but serve customers. Did I mention awful service? It bears repeating.
A nice place and good atmosphere to meet friends, drink beer, play pool! The pool tables unfortunately are completely out of shape.
Locals bar. Lots of Jager shots.
Basement dive bar with limited beer but full bar. Cash only, nothing to write home about but no cover
Good laughs
This place is rad. No frills. Good, cheap beer. Go here if you tired of the tourist scene in Banff and want to watch a hockey game with a good beer in hand.
