Such an awesome time. They said our table would be ready in an hour it was ready in 15 mins, our drinks and food arrived within 15 mins of sitting down the staff are amazing and our 6 year old son was able to come with us and also have his own kind of fun. Decent food prices also. Definitely will be returning, great job management

User

Everything about my experience tonight was above and beyond. I took my son out for his birthday, when I was trying to reload his card for more games I ended up dropping my wine(my fault btw) they quickly came to clean up and offered to replace my wine(much appreciated, seeing as how it was my own fault), they were friendly, courteous and quite helpful. Probably the best service Iā€™ve received in quite some time.

User

Arrived on a Tuesday just after opening. Large, nice place and not too busy! The restaurant was classy with a good selection of beverages. They said we could walk around with our drinks as well.

As a 90ā€™s girl I loved the style of music playing.

There is stuff to do for everyone, from pool to climbing walls, virtual reality and of course huge arcade games.

5* (5 Star) for food and 5* for younger guy servers in both floors. If you want to enjoy really your night then approach younger hosts and younger servers. Trust me, they have the best judgement ever, great customer service and they are more efficient in their job. They know how to wear their smile too. I won't complain about waiting, I totally understand the situation here. But guys, believe me one smile and best judgement by the staff in front of you will make a difference no matter what. I want to focus on great things we experienced. But I guess, management will understand what I want to say more about their staff. You have so much potential to grow more. Salute to all your younger guy staff, amazing!!! My family admired them, we saw how they were doing their job efficiently and carefully unlike the rest.

Upon arrival (9pm) Friday night, it was busy and over whelming. Kids were running around everywhere and adults were walking around with heavy glassware. I was surprised when I went to the bar to grab some drinks while my friends grabbed wrist bands, that I was given beer pints in glass (heavy large glasses). Upon delivery to my friends, one of the patrons close by dropped his beer glass sending shards across the floor next to children. Staff were not exactly the quickest to respond to the mess.

Line ups were everywhere, in the total 2 hours of our visit I played approximately 3 games because you had to wait in line.

The lounge area was more attentive although when we grabbed a vacant table a server came to us and said we could sit there but we would not receive service because we ā€œjust grabbed an empty tableā€... there was a sign that read let us seat you but we waited over 10 minutes for recognition so we just grabbed a table due to the many ignored stares of servers. Bartenders were more than happy to serve you but unfortunately could not leave the bar.

In short, itā€™s an over rated cineplex with poor service and crowds. I do not think I would return even with my children during the week...

User

This place is a lot of fun! Would be a great place for a date or to hang with a group of friends. The downsides are itā€™s really packed. Even on a Tuesday you had to wait in line for games. Also, the food and drinks are way overpriced for what you get. I likely will go back, but will eat somewhere else first!

User

This place has a lot of potential! The staff were friendly, the drinks and food list was good. Three10 has enough TVs that watching the game was easy (although any volume to the game would have been better).

The lacking part was that they didnā€™t have enough games for the size of it! Sure there were a decent amount of arcade games, but they could have 3 or 4 times as many pool tables (only two in the whole place? What the heck?) and the only air hockey table I saw was a four-player table. Those are bar staples, and if I actually could have played pool instead of just watching and waiting, Iā€™d have stayed for the night, instead of leaving after an hour.

Great concept! Mediocre execution.

User

Such a great idea ..the restaurant and hall was awesome. But need to be managed better, it was empty so we should not have to wait five min to be seated on upstairs patio , service was very slow as it was not busy at all. Food so so, calamari was basically like popcorn shrimp. Hope to enjoy gorgeous patio again, maybe more tilted umbrellas to enjoy this georgeous weather and lovely view again

User

I made reservations for 8 people two weeks ago. This was a suprise Birthday event for my spouse. Upon arrival I was told I could not be seated until my group arrived. This blew the suprise for my spouse. Finally after explaining this was a suprise event, we were allowed to be seated. As we were sitting there, the rest of the party started to show up and we ordered our drinks and some appitizers. The server was great to talk to and extremely nice. As the night progressed no one was clearing our table. We had glasses and dishes piling up and our drinks were delivered 20 25 mins after we asked for them. I found it extremely strange that when I ordered a cocktail I would get a different drink and when I tried to correct the waitress and the answer I would recieve is " we ran out of mojito/ Margaritas". The appitizers were ok but extremely over priced.

A couple of friends stopped in to say Happy Birthday and I asked for more chairs ( which they were happy to accommodate) but the waitress notified me that everyone would be charged 18% gratitude on their bills. At the time I didn't mind and agreed to it until I found out my friends didn't order drinks or food from her and had been using the bar the entire time. This was disappointing. Overall, I would recommend the games / arcade section and bar for a couple drinks. But if you're looking to dine in, this is not the place to go.

User

Firstly, this review is not a reflection on the wait and host staff as they were wonderful. Very accommodating and friendly - Our server, Talea, is the sweetest thing, we adored her. The games are always fun - I have been to the Edmonton locations a number of times and although the services is sometimes slower, I haven't ever had a particularly bad experience. Our issue only occurred after we had been seated on the patio as instructed. We were asked to sit in a section where a series of tables could be pushed together and could accommodate a larger group. As we were arriving separately, in separate cars, we had intended to get a table and use this as a gathering point and have a drink until our entire party had arrived. Until this point, everything was wonderful. When Debbie, the manager, approached our table, she was very rude to us because (presumably) she had assumed we did not consult the host staff on our way in and were seating ourselves which we wholly understand could disrupt server rotation. She continuously interrupted us as we tried to explain the situation and instead of offering a solution, she simply asked us to leave making us feel very unwelcome. We were not a difficult or disruptive group and would have been happy move if we had been asked to. We had intended to have lunch in the restaurant area after playing some games but decided not to after our encounter with Debbie, as this was one of the most shocking displays of poor customer service that we had ever experienced.

User

Came here this morning and was lead upstairs by the host who said our waiter would tell us how we can get special points with our meal. We waited 30 mins before one of our party got up and went to the bar asking if a server was coming as there had not been one yet. She never explained how the points worked and when we asked at the end of our meal we were even more confused as it seemed like she was not sure herself. The crab dip I ordered was really good but the salmon eggs beni was not only a weird pairing with the mushrooms but it also just seemed the quality of the ingredients just didnā€™t match the price point. I didnā€™t even eat half of what was on my plate it was that bad. I think the concept of the dining are is great and could be a good time but wonā€™t be returning as the service was terrible and the food was expensive and just not good. As for the games, it was really good, lots of different types and I love that you can carry your drink around while you play. I just wish they had a bit more as it seemed like all the good games were always taken and you land up picking games more on availability then what you actually want to play.

User

Alright first thing is first, the restaurant does not represent the entirety of the rec room. Seems to me most of the bad reviews only reflect on that. The gaming is pretty sweet. Went for a friends birthday.

Gaming - lots of choices, lots of fun. We bought the "best value" $30 wristband and got 200 credits. Right after buying them saw our friends who had more comfortable wristbands that didn't look ridiculous. Theirs were $35 and think you get an extra 10 credits but it's more customizable. Went back and waited through a long line to buy those for an extra $5 each and got everything transferred over. Not a big deal but we should have been told about them. Yes there are lines but whatever man, lots to do, mostly just Mario kart with the big lines. 4 way air hockey was a blast.

310 restaurant - second time at the restaurant, food was fine. Yes I will agree that the food is pretty pricey, but more than anything....the drinks are ridiculously over priced. $12 for a caesar.....are you joking me? $8-8.5 for a beer....like wow. We had good service both times though.

Big thing I think....lower those liquor prices because it's ridiculous. I would give 3.5 but can only do 3 or 4...so I'll go with the 3.

Basically, games are a blast. Restaurant is decent but very over priced.

User

We went there for a birthday and 5 of us girls stood at the bar and the bar attendees ignored us for 25-30 mins it wasnā€™t even that busy at the bar. Worst servers Iā€™ve ever seen!!!! But the game side was actually really fun and everyone let you have a try! I recommend not sitting at a table and eat at the finger food place cuz they were a lot nicer and actually took your order.

User

Cool concept, but ridiculously overpriced and service is sub par at best. Militant rude security staff that set the tone poorly upon entering, followed up by a basic, boring beer list in the restaurant, nothing dark, strong or hoppy. Food was decent, lacking flavour and freshness and certainly not worth $28 for "jumbo" wings that are actually normal size but heavily breaded. Thank God our server was pleasant, her personality made up for the rest of the staff we ran into. We won't be back, there are too many better options in Calgary.

User

Took 1.5 hour to get our appetizers, and another 45 min to get our dinner, which was over prices! The pizza was basically just dough with tomato sauce.. turns out me and my husband got food poisoning the next day. Our server was nice but the manager was rude, acted like we were inconveniencing him and wouldn't give us the time of day... Do not eat there! Oh and a friend has a very very long piece of hair in her saladļæ½ games are fun! That's about it...

Also after 10pm not minors allowed... We saw many kids after 10pm a few very young babies too..... Terrible

User

I was supposed to receive 8000 scene points from a promotion as well as additional points from 8 peopleā€™s bills.

The credit that I received was only 106 scene points.

On the day of the party they were unable to split scene points between the 13 of us and we waited over an hour for them to talk to their IT department before we could pay our bills or play any games.

The server was not able to handle the 13 people at my table. I know it was not her fault for the tech issues with the scene points, but we waited way too long for our bills.

Over the last month and a half I have spoken with three different managers and despite their staff guaranteeing my whole party the points, I havenā€™t received what was guaranteed.

The manager said the promotion was expired but we spoke to 2 separate staff prior to booking and/or ordering anything to confirm what points we would receive.

The Rec Room refuses now to give me any higher up information and they will not try to resolve the issue.

Basically, they are not standing by what other staff said and have said too bad thereā€™s nothing we can do which is unprofessional and unacceptable.

They haven't even offered to comp me a meal or anything despite losing out on over $100 in movie points.

I understand it is a new business but my experience on the day of my party was awful, and the staff I have dealt with since then have not been hospitable or accommodating.

I am very disappointed with the management and how they are handling things.

I will not come back here for any meals.

I understand there is an 18% autograt for tables of 8 and over but we all waited so long to order anything and the server did NOT deserve 18%. Everyone at my table was very disappointed.

The gaming managers are awesome and have only been helpful if the games eat tokens or what not. I will only return for the gaming as the restaurant is not capable or providing a positive experience.

User

I booked a reservation for 15 people at 730, Myself and 5 others were running late (15 minutes) Some people arrived on time. The people that arrived on time were not allowed to sit at the table and were made to wait till "Everyone arrived." When we got there at 745pm we were brought up stair where it was empty.

Our service was horrible, took a long time to get drinks. Our drinks would sit on the bar for up to 10 minutes while the waiter stood at the stand talking to other staff members. Numerous times i went up to the bar and got our drinks. When we asked for the check, that took about 15 minutes to get. Our table was not once wiped down and left to have all the glasses pile up till i asked to have them to be removed.

You can use scene points there. At the end of the night 2 people in our party found out you could use points and wanted to redeem them towards their bill.

They were told they could not due to it had to be done at the beginning. That being said, the waiter should have advised our party when we sat down they they except scene points, however it has to be done before ordering.

Food was horrible, The burger has no flavor and was extremely small for 19 dollars id expect more. Mcdonalds would have been more enjoyable. The gravy is awful. The chicken and waffles as mediocre at best. The steak was extremely under cooked, lobster mac and cheese was bland and not much flavor. Two people asked for gravy one showed up when the meal was 3 quarters done.

The fact that tips were added on to our bill was ridiculous as the waiter did not put in the work to deserve such a tip. I will never return to this place nor will i recommend this place to anyone.

User

Horrible experience. Games were awesome. Restaurant horrible. Got our reserved table at 830. Waited 1hr and 15 min for our appies. another hour for our meal. Basically lost our appetites with slow service and over priced drinks. Once I got my meal, the rotisserie chicken; it wasn't even good. Way over cooked and so dry. My friend pulled a huge long hair out of her salad, and our buddy got food poisoning from his meal. Disgusting.

User

Attended trivia night tonight. Arrived half hour before start time, hoping to order food, and drinks to arrive while playing. We got the last seats available (two couchā€™s), and remained the invisible table all night. Numerous servers passed by, not making eye contact, or even noticing our attempts to flag them down to even get a menu and order a drink. Finally went to bar, and waited for 10 minutes while bartender chatted with two guys who were paying tab. Finally got drinks from bar. Waited another 15 or so minutes for menus. Asked for extra chairs for more of our party, and never got them. Went and found our own. Bartenders were soooo rude. No smiles.

Food finally came after about an hour. Table never cleared.

Trivia was stupid. Really, it was. It was all Disney trivia. I looked at Facebook page, and website page, both indicated smrt general trivia, nowhere said Disney trivia. Our group was so disappointed. We are avid trivia buffs and play around yyc often, and all concurred that this is the worst.

To sum up...service is beyond terrible, truly the worst Iā€™ve had.

Staff is rude. Not helpful.

Food is mediocre, and lukewarm.

Trivia is stupid.

Some arcade games fun. Not fun enough to make us like the place.

Will not go back.

Terrible

Disgusting.

User

User
