This being the closest registry to my house, I've come here many times and the staff are consistently rude, impatient, and unhelpful. It's definitely worth the trip to a different registry

No dumbass owner, bad reviews happen, when bad service is happening. A few is acceptable, but a majority is strongly saying something. When you goto 15 places that accept your paperwork, and the one that doesn't.. .hmmm I wonder..screw you all.

I always come to this registry for everything related to my cars for years and years. They are the best, the two nice guys that I cant remember there names are so helpful they always know what to do and make the process fast and easy for me and my family every time. I do not even live in the area anymore I live in the NW and I still go here no matter what. I always recommend this registry to anyone, always see the guys and they are so helpful and the best ever.

Quick fast service.... Best Thing is they have no fees for using master card or VISA for up to $200!!!! Any other registry charges 3% for using credit cards...

I have been going here for years, never an issue with rudeness or attitude. Always a short line. Not the most perky bunch but definitely know their job well and are straight forward and to the point. I don't like you have to pay for debit use but the fees here for services are almost the cheapest in the city anyways.

I recommend going to a different registry, especially if you are going to take your learner's license test. I have been trying to take my test at this location for about three weeks, and their "system is down". Always, it seems.
I have no complaint with the service I have received, over the phone or in person, but dealing with friendly representatives does NOT make up for my (lack of) test taking experience. Registry Depot needs an update, unless they want to continue losing customers like me. I would be happier to travel across the city than go to this place again; even if other services at this location do not suffer from perpetual 'system issues'...

If i could rate 0 out of 5 i would. Worst possible customer service I've seen in a long time. I went there to get mine and the misses drivers license transferred over to Alberta from another province. The one Asian women said i needed a piece of mail with address. So i gave her one. She said it wasn't good enough. So i tried showing her a pay stub i had on my phone. She said she couldn't accept it. So i said I'd email it over.

The white "Manager" named "Alice" walked over and gave me attitude, Saying "We need the original" So i said that i have all of my documents and why are you giving me a hard time, let's just get this done. The manager replied with "We don't serve people like you here" So i got disgruntled and called up the Better Business Bureau and they advised me they would be investigating this issue (I submitted a complaint online) and I also contacted the Human rights office for assistance in this matter as well.

The Asian lady as well as the Manager walked away from me. I asked them for their names, and they would not tell me them, The older white lady said her name was Alice afterwards. Which i can't confirm is true (as they do not wear name tags there) and the Asian lady would not give me her name at all. They also wouldnt give me the owners name or contact information. So I took a picture of the Asian lady and "Manager" for evidence of who served me. Waiting for BBB to investigate this matter and hopefully get some resolution of how improper the staff at this location are trained. VERY VERY VERY BAD customer service.

DO NOT GO HERE EVER!!!! This place is completely dead and there is a reason for it.

First things first, you guys have a terrible reputation. Blaming me for being the problem is your first mistake. Hiring better employees with more respect should be your first concern. The lady that served me as well as the manager who walked over and interrupted with her bad attitude is the one who got things escalated. I was hardly even rude after the fact. I offered several typed of proof of residency and she would not accept any of them (pay stubs, recent mail, even offered my lease contract) and none of them were acceptable to this establishment. She would not work with me to get everything in order to get this completed, she just wanted me out the door. Good thing because I would rather my hardworking money go to an organization that deserves it. Not one with a 2.4 star rating that has complaints on BBB as well as here. This company has more 1 star ratings than anything else. That goes to show that this company has terrible staff members that won't even identify themselves and that say "They don't serve people like me" If i were to guess I'd say the owner is just as terrible as any of them that work there.

I went in with ID and asked what my traffic violations were in the past year and they wouldnt release the information to me unless i paid for a driver abstract. Worst customer service i hope these clowns get shut down.

Don't go here if you don't have your ticket.
Don't go here if you don't have a second piece of ID.
Don't go here if you don't want to pay additional fees on top of the ticket.
Don't go here if you value customer service. If your ticket is more than 200$ bring cash otherwise you have to pay to use there machine twice.
Honestly my suggestion is don't go here unless you have to

the one plus side is lines are usually non-existent so it shouldn't be to long

Terrible, rude and even disrespectful customer service agents. Also, after charging a premium for everything else they even have the nerve to charge you to use their debit machine to pay. UPDATE: I just stopped in here again. I should know better but they are just so close to my house.
I tried to renew my drivers license and had about $300 in fines. I pulled out my credit card and the clerk said I could only pay up to $200 on credit card. It's all designed to get you to use the terminal an additional time so they can charge the service fee more than once.
They won't let me pay more than $200 on my Visa and they have the nerve to charge a percentage on top of the service charge for the privilege of their service. Ya. No thanks. I called "Registry Express" before I'd even left the store and asked them if they have any issues with paying by credit card. No problem she said. There is a 2% fee for credit (1%) less and no service charge for using the terminal.
Burn me once, shame on you. Burn me twice, shame on me. That's the last time The Registry Depot will ever see me. They can move on to providing third class service to other customers.
