great live music most nights of the week, cheap drinks AND other Good drinks, staff takes no guff and makes sure everybody enjoys themselves and feels comfy in the space.

This place is the beating heart of the alternative comedy and music scenes in Edmonton, and I love it so so much.

This place is dope. Cool basement vibe makes it a good time while the staff keep it running at tip top shape.

This is a great place to see bands! Friendly staff, great sound, awesome food and drinks selection. An important component of Edmonton's music and arts scene.

The people running the show were great hosts with great beer for sale!

The Sewing Machine Factory is a wonderful local spot with plenty to offer the community. A spacious floor, plenty of comfortable seating, and chill upstairs cafe all adds up to a fun and welcoming venue. The beer is cheap, the kitchen is open late, and the hosts are friendly!

Super comfy room, great sound, great drinks, and great staff!

Stellar vibes, swell music, massive nights, sewing machines, lethal weapon on the jumbo-tron.

SMF is one of the biggest up and coming venues in the city and for good reason. The staff here are amazing, the environment is always friendly and welcoming, and I have had a great time here every time I have been.

Rad lighting and good sound. Love the aesthetic. Brings me back to the irreplaceable wunderbar

It's the most welcoming venue I've seen since Chess and they have so many diverse shows and such good food

I've only been once or twice but I remember having awesome conversations over the bar with the staff. Everyone's super accommodating and sincere! Beer is rad and they've got a good variety (Also if you're a sucker for Orange Soda they still might have a really good treat for ya'!) They're always booking local stuff too! Huge supporters of people looking to converge and express in a good space. Consider catching a show there soon!

Great/friendly staff, super beverage selection, food in the cafe if you were too excited to eat before a show, sweet space, and they bring in great acts & art shows.

First time playing a show with my band here as well as attending a show the evening after over the weekend. The staff here are super friendly! The venue has a very chill vibe to it and the furniture, lighting, and curtains really give it a "sanctuary" feel. Drinks are very reasonably priced. Definitely will be back ! Also looking forward to the reopening of the Millcreek café upstairs !

Favourite venue in edmonton! It's a wonderful venue because the staff are so incredibly genuine and kind and always make it a safe fun time for everyone, not to mention the mind blowingly wonderful artists that are booked here! Thanks for always making my day way better with killer tunes and being generally amazing, I can't think of a single negative thing to say keep KILLIN IT <3 <3 <3
