The Shooting Edge

Was at the edge today to test a semi automatic shotgun I received from my uncle. To be honest this gun has more sentimental value that monetary value. The gun was not cycling properly and after the first shot the shell was not ejecting. I was lucky to have Eddy help me. He asked to have a look at the gun and made a few adjustments Then it was off to the range to test. Success. Thanks Eddy you rock

Eddy... range officer took care of us start to finish. Wanted to sight in and ended up staying to play. Great service. Great help. Great knowledge. Sick beard.

I came into the shop quite hesitant, as I need some photos and information for a research project, but wasn't actually booked to shoot or planning to buy anything. I was quickly introduced to Mike and Daniel, who both helped me find the gun I needed for referencing (Daniel actually let me use his own personal revolver!) and took the time out to tutor me on the gun, demonstrated how to shoot so I could shoot reference, and even show me how to shoot so I knew how it felt. Even though I just came for photos of a gun, I was met with all that I needed and more. Mike and Daniel's patience and generosity with their time, knowledge, and equipment left me feeling really grateful and the experience was one of the best examples of customer service I've had to date. If it's to shoot, or even just to browse, these guys will have your back!

My boyfriend and I went here last week and we were extremely disappointed. I am an unlicensed shooter and my boyfriend is licenced however, we are from Ontario and have never been to this range before. We were expecting (as this is how the website read) that I would be assigned a range officer to explain the rules of the range and to show me how to safely handle the gun and how to shoot. My boyfriend brought his own firearm. No one asked us if we had ever been there or shot before. There was absolutely no explanation as to the rules of the range.
I paid my fee however, I wasn't given a gun or a range officer. Just let into the range. At this point I thought the range officer was inside but when we got through the second door there was no one there to help me. I stayed inside for about 10 minutes thinking someone would come to be our range officer but no one did. I finally left the range to go watch through the window.
I would not recommend this range at all to unlicensed shooters. It was very unprofessional and very disturbing that we would be sent into such an area with absolutely no explanation at all. I think the person helping us had over things on his mind and should NOT have been giving access to a gun range as part of his responsibilities.

My boyfriend and I went for our anniversary. I was pretty nervous and uneasy, but our range officer Patrick was OUTSTANDING. Incredibly professional while still making it super fun!! He helped ease my nerves and made the experience one for books! I'd highly recommend this place, AND Patrick. His service alone is enough to make me want to go back again and again!

Went to the shooting edge with a group of 11 guys for a stag. Staff were friendly and very professional but still pretty easy going. Price of ammunition was a bit pricey but we still had a great time. I would go back for sure.

Had a great time her with my family. The employees are really knowledgable and overall great to deal with!

We had a great time there the first time we went. We bought another Groupon because we had such a good experience. Unfortunately, we were turned away twice before we could go again (we were successful on our third try). We arrived just after 7pm. I would suggest making a clearly communicated cut-off time for walk-ins, as the door says they are "always welcome".

Great service and an affordable pro shop. They have a pretty good selection of parts as well. Great gunsmith.
