Urban Painter team did a great job with the inside of our house. Everything was exactly what we asked for, and communication from start to finish was excellent as well. Everyone we spoke to throughout the project was super friendly, and they were all quick to address questions/concerns we had. Would recommend without hesitation.

This is the second time I have used Urban Painters and both times I've been very happy. The first time was for exterior vinyl siding painting and now for interior drywall repairs doors, baseboards, walls, and ceilings. Gabe was quick to respond to my call for a quote and did a thorough job preparing the quote. He quoted a great price and assigned a professional team that were easy to communicate with as well as thorough and responsive. Justin was great at letting me know progress and when work was completed. Overall they did an excellent job for a great price and left my house clean and large pieces of furniture moved back to their place. Can highly recommend Urban Painters for interior and exterior painting!!!

We would highly recommend to anyone. All of the sales staff, and painters, were very professional, helpful, and courteous. The price was very reasonable and the job was completed in a timely manner. The Urban Painter painted our deck, privacy wall, stairs, porch, and various trimmings on our house, and everything looks great!

We booked Urban Painter last year for work to be done this year. Then the pandemic hit and I was worried that they might have gone out of business and our large deposit would be lost. But no...instead they contacted me and organized a time for them to inspect and power wash our house. The dates were pushed back to accommodate our family and they were very gracious. They showed up everyday on time and well prepared. There was a foreman who was there every day, plus other managers who were there to help or check on things. One evening, it was the manager who stayed late to finish a section off for the next day. The staff were very polite and friendly. We did not hear anyone using bad language and all smoking was kept well away from our house. It took two days to prep our house and they were meticulous about taping and protecting the neighbours houses from overspray. They did two coats on the whole house and we are thrilled with the results. The foreman walked through everything with us to ensure that they had not missed anything and that we were happy. The followed up with a gift of cupcakes and asked their photographer to shoot our house. We were very happy with Urban Painter and would wholeheartedly recommend them.

We decided to have our outside trim and two decks painted last year (2019) and settled on May-June 2020 as the start time. We had just moved into our house in early 2019 and realized the house trim and deck needed painting/staining. Our realtor recommended Urban Painter, so we contacted them in fall 2019.

We met with a team member and discussed the project, even then I was impressed by how professional the company was.

The work was started on the date we agreed on, the painters were experienced, polite and very accommodating. The team or painters started work early each morning and did not finish until late to mid afternoon.

The process of colour matching can be difficult but the lead painter, Felipe, was very helpful and friendly. He made sure we were happy with every choice made.

My home has very challenging roof lines and painting the trim can be very awkward/scary. Special ladders were purchased when required and I’m pretty sure less experienced painters would not have attempted some areas at all. These guys had no problem with any of it.

The house looks great. The painters are experienced, polite and very responsive to requests we made during the process. They had a terrific attitude. They are very highly recommended.

The transformation is amazing and everything looks perfect. The quality is fantastic and we couldn't have expected a better result.

Misleading. So unhappy after 11 months.
Urban Painter sprayed the cabinets in our RV in August. They should have told us they couldn’t do the job correctly, but they assured us that their paint quality and superior products would translate well to our home on wheels. We had so many communication issues with them during the job, the timeline was delayed, and my husband and I worked with them (doing the job we paid them to do) for 3 solid days as they only had one guy assigned to the work.
The biggest issue? The cabinets are a MESS. The paint has become sticky, it can’t be cleaned properly. It soaks up stains, is cracking in places... they need to be totally redone.
It’s clear to see that they weren’t prepped properly - limited sanding, minimal priming, and the paint quality was garbage.
We gave them thousands of dollars and not a peep from them on trying to rectify the issue. Yes, they sent someone out in September to “fix the patches” but you’d have to redo the whole project in order to get a good result.
I wouldn’t recommend them to my worst enemy. So unprofessional.
Just wait, if your cabinets have been sprayed by them, give it 6 to 7 months and you’ll see what I mean.

I had a great experience with The Urban Painter. They came in professional, on time and at their quoted amount. The did an excellent job and made the entire experience very enjoyable! I would work with them again.

I hired The Urban Painter this past summer to stain the exterior of my house and deck, and paint the interior of the garage.  It was a sizeable job that took multiple workers over a week and a half to complete.  The work was booked three weeks in advance, and the foreman came to my house to meet me three days prior to the scheduled start date to plan and discuss the job in more detail.  I was able to meet with the lead painter every two days or so to get progress reports and discuss any issues that had arisen.  I also kept in contact via text, and they were quick to respond to any questions I had.  The painters worked very efficiently, kept the job site very clean, and did a thorough job.  Upon completion, I completed a final walkthrough with the lead painter, and it was obvious that his main objective was to ensure that I was completely satisfied.

In the end, I did have some issues with the final invoice as it was a moving target with some changes and additions, but this is where The Urban Painter surpassed my expectations.  After a discussion with one of the owners of the company, I was able to settle the discrepancies without any friction.  It was at this point that I knew that The Urban Painter is run by owners that are honest and have a lot of integrity.  It's always an unknown as to whether you can trust a company to do what it says it will.  With this company, I have no doubt.  I have since asked them to perform two more jobs for me in the coming weeks.

I've had multiple opportunities over many jobs to interact with The Urban Painter and its different painting crews. I can say from experience that this company acts with integrity, honesty and transparent communication. From quality of work done to being reasonable with touch-ups or project add-ons, The Urban Painter gets the job done right. Ask for the "Urban Legends" painting team when doing your booking - Faith and Aaron did a stellar job!

Absolutely fantastic customer service. Gabe came and gave us a quote exactly when he said he would regardless of the snow storm the city was experiencing that day. Very professional and detailed information was given both during the quotation process as well as having the work done. The four man crew was very friendly and thorough. I would completely recommend them to anyone looking to have a cost and time efficient paint job completed. Truly went above and beyond my expectations and I would call them again without hesitation. Thanks so much and I'll call again when we find a new house to buy!

Faith and Aaron were working on the same family dwelling as I was and they were doing touch ups to freshen things up and paid great attention to detail, had pride in their work, kept the home tidy, and were very organized. Awesome colour match on the railing, Faith! Work along side you guys anytime :)

Our walls we're looking horrible due to some poor workmanship. We didn't even realize how bad of a paint job we had until their workers fixed everything. They were professional, quick and clean. Our place looks much nicer now.

From the initial meeting to obtain a quote to when the painters arrived on time everyone was very friendly and helpful. The painters asked if there was a room that I wanted to be finished in the first day and they completed it. My bed was put together for me and the entertainment centre was put back with the tv all set up! Previous owner had made a mess with paint and the painters removed what they could. This was the first time that I have hired someone to paint my home and I was quite anxious with the process, Urban Painters are the best and I would absolutely recommend them!!

The quote we received was quick and cost efficient - no hidden fees or absurd prices for the work being requested. The job was bumped ahead of schedule due to a cancellation they had last minute, so that was great. The worker was on time and very mannerly and he completed the work very close to the estimated finish date. Overall we are very happy with the service we received and the quality of the paint job.
