With a serious gluten allergy in our family this place is everything we had been looking for. Healthy, safe, friendly, fast and super delicious!! Thank you!!

We tried it out for the first time yesterday. I must say we haven't eaten a better flat bread pizza in town before. And the best thing is that its all Halal! We had Bowness and Kilarney. We can't wait to try out the other ones now. We dined in. Its a pretty cozy place for small group of four to six people.

This place was awesome! Just a tiny place to eat in but it was a perfect spot for my husband and I to have a dinner date. Eating at 100% gf places makes me feel like a normal person again. I can go in and order ANYTHING I want and I don't have to ask a zillion questions about food safety and cross contamination. Service was awesome. Pizza was divine. My husband (the gluten eater) also really enjoyed it so it definitely passes the test. I highly recommend this place to anyone who wants a great thin crust pizza!

This is the best pizza I have had - with or without gluten! Highly recommend to anyone. My husband is celiac and finding good gluten free food is such a pain ... Until now! We will definitely be coming back again and again! We ordered online delivery and it arrived exactly when requested :) Super friendly service and AMAZING food.

Staff is always friendly. Order is always on time. Food is always delicious. Plus they are so generous in providing a $25 gift card sponsoring the CIBC run for the cure. A lucky runner will be awarded on race day.

My new favourite pizza place! Had the Marda Loop and Kensington pizzas (both veganized) and they were awesome. Yes, pizza can be healthy and still have a ton of great flavours! Unique, fresh toppings, a tasty crust.... I can't wait to have more.

Loved it! Due to food sensitivities, I needed to order both gluten free and vegan cheese and I couldn't tell that I was eating either one! It was super yummy and we will be visiting again!

It's pizza, so I have to start with the crust. Amazing crust. Nice tooth, very crisp, light, chewy, extra thin. I love many distinct styles of crust (I'm thinking of three right now), and this crust is quite unique, but it scores high on most criteria. The one slam would be that it's almost too thin when loaded with delicious toppings, but it's pretty hard to call that a slam, especially since the crust maintains its crispness. Like the very best gluten-free baking, it never even registers that it's gluten-free, it just impresses.



The menu selections are all named after Calgary neighbourhoods. I grew up in Sunnyside so big props, and there's pretty good representation across the city from Bowness to Forest Lawn. We tried the Marda Loop and the Kensington.



Marda Loop is dressed with a squash hummus, chickpeas, tomatoes and basil. Substantial, with surprisingly bright flavours. The very moderate amount of salt really allows the other flavours to come to the forefront, it's sophisticated without being chi-chi. How these ingredients work together is a mystery, but it was all good in tha hood.



The Kensington has a bit of a Southern Tex-Mex thing going on. This pizza was a bit more approachable than the Marda Loop. The top-notch ingredients really sing on this one (check out where these cats get their ingredients from). The flavours of the bean-corn salsa and cilantro would work well with a tiny shake of Tajin or spritz of lime, but again, very tasty 'za.



Village Flatbread is trying to do something new in the Calgary pizza space, I love it. I hope that people respond because this is something we need. The pizza is simultaneously indulgent yet healthy, satiating yet fresh and light. It's a really cool pizzeria that y'all should go to.

I'm brand new to the city and I've had celiac's since I was very young. My sister discovered this place and "gifted" me a pizza. It was wonderful! I'm so relieved to have found another place to eat where I don't have to worry about being sick after! Great attention to flavours, the crust was perfect, and I'm now in a blissful cheesy coma. Thanks again!

People were really nice at the place explained a lot about the ingredients they use .. really friendly staff .. we enjoyed the food, the kids too liked it very much .. thanks Village Flatbread for the complete experience

I have celiac disease, something I've had for ten years now. Pizza is the one thing I've never been able to find a good substitute for. Add in now that I can't have dairy, and egg and I was heartbroken.

To be able to eat out here and know that I am safe AND it all tastes amazing AND they have epic customer service. I'm a customer for life!!

I eat gluten and don't care if my meat is halal. But I do care if my pizza is delicious. So I eat Village. Bonus points for not making me feel gross after eating all the pizzas.

I anticipate being back here a lot. Recently diagnosed with Celiac Disease. Village is like finding a pot of gold. Better than any wheat based crust I can ever recall having.

I am not much of a person to write reviews about food or restaurants, however, I am making this an exception due to how impressed my wife and I were with the food here. I have never eaten any pizza this tasty and the fact that the entire menu is Halal is especially salient as a Muslim. MashaAllah, the highest level of quality of the ingredients places this pizza on a plane way above the others when it comes to finding a good Halal pizza. I hope to try everything on the menu inshaAllah! It was also great to see an old friend, an added surprise to my first visit! Wonderful food and amazingly friendly customer service. It was great seeing you again bro! Salams!

Delicious pizza, their vegan mozzarella is the best in town for sure. I also enjoyed the dough and the freshness of the ingredients, I was born and raised in Italy and you can trust me when I say this place is highly recommended.
