Opening in 1975, the Walter A. "Slim" Thorpe Recovery Centre was a 2 bed detox centre. Today, the organization has grown into a 72 bed facility in the outskirts of Lloydminster AB /SK.
The Thorpe Recovery Centre provides Medically Supported Detox for those withdrawing from alcohol and drugs, including opiates with a Suboxone protocol, a 42 + day Residential Treatment Prom, a 5 day Family Intensive and 6 day Sex Addiction Intensive.
