In just under two months, with the help and patronage of the community, the many players in it, and Judges, we have achieved ADVANCED status with Wizards of the Coast (the manufacturer of Magic: The Gathering and D&D.)!
... What does this mean for you and us going forward? We get access to more product, from special releases such as Commander, promos, Prerelease allocations, and the like. We also get access to additional events, such as Preliminary Pro Tour Qualifiers, and other special events, as well as additional Prerelease events during those weekends. This will put more product into our customers hands and allow us to provide a wider range and number of events for you!
We appreciate all the support and care our patrons have provided this far! We are working hard to continue to grow and add options to the community going forward!

More of a board game person than MTG but thankfully TVG does offer a nice selection of board games, and invites customers to suggest/inquire as to board games they are looking for. I've also had a positive experience with staff recommendations on board game selections. I like the space available in-store for playing cards/games and how inviting the staff are to all players.

Initial impressions: staff seems very professional, helpful and nice. some of the games are very competitively priced with online stores, but not all of them.



Lots of floor space for playing and clean looking enviroment.



Hoping this place that's close to the U of C stays competitive pricing wise and maintains the friendly atmosphere created by the staff.

I love the friendly environments. A great place to hangout and play games with friends and family.
