These are the fiber construction locations for Wednesday Sept 5:
*Along 4th Ave SE *Maplewood Drive *Maplewood Way... *Parkview Crescent *Emerald Way *Diamond Crescent *Willow Ridge *Riverwood *Valley Ridge Place *Along Centre Ave *3rd Street NE (near Tim Hortons) *1st, 2nd & 3rd Ave NW
Construction activities in your neighborhoods will include landscapers placing loam & seed, hydro-vac trucks, bucket trucks working on the lines in the alley, backhoes, drilling machines, street sweepers, water trucks, conduit reel trailers, utility marker flags, cable splicing trucks, snow fence, orange conduits poking out of the ground, caution ribbons, flagging & stakes guarding the plywood covering temporary holes. Please obey all road & sidewalk signs and watch for moving equipment. Please do not tamper with the utility marker flags. If you have any questions or concerns let us know.
Note to all property owners: During construction your lawn, gardens or landscaping may experience disruption. We are using the least intrusive installation methods for the Fiber Optic conduits & cables. Bumps, small hills & ridges in your yard will slowly, naturally return to the original state as the earth settles. Some will not and require adjustment, tamping or re-shaping. The construction crews in your neighborhood are the builders, not the landscapers. They will fill in the holes, return the sod pieces, put rocks back in the garden & clean up the area. As the construction crews move out, the landscaping crews will move in and begin the soft surface remediations to restore your property. The landscapers will continue in the Parkview & Maplewood areas. The Telus Water Instruction Cards are being delivered to neighborhoods, please follow these instructions to help bring the disturbed areas in your yard back to health. If you have any questions or concerns please call the Town Office at 403.933.4348.
**Note: Flags cannot be removed under any circumstances. Chemco will remove them after construction is complete. Relocates will need to be done if the flags are tampered with. Please mow around the flags until they are removed by the contractor.
