Trace Scope Repair Description

Trace Scope Repair is owned and operated by Phil Zelenka and Janet Trace. Phil is the technician, shop foreman, millwright, janitor, shipper /receiver and general roustabout. Janet looks after advertising and expenditures. She is an ‘A’ licence international shooting judge, presently retired from active target competition. Don’t piss her off.
By training, Phil is a geologist and a mechanic, and something of an amateur machinist. A long-time handloader and target shooter of over 43 years, Phil has amassed experience handloading in the neighbourhood of 25 different cartridges from . 22 Hornet through . 35 calibre, and shot hundreds of thousands of rimfire cartridges at paper, silhouettes and rodents. Phil is a five-time National Smallbore Sporting Rifle Champion, Smallbore Hunter Rifle Canadian record holder and presently Alberta Smallbore Silhouette champion, plus High Power Silhouette rifle champion for Alberta. He has been Provincial Champion in Sporting Rifle many times. While more a target shooter than a hunter Phil has pacified a number of deer over the years. He will be happy to discuss your optics needs whether you are a hunter or target shooter.
