I've bought a handful of major appliances from trail over the past couple decades. I like their service and willingness to deal but if you ever pay their regular price you'll be paying a lot more than you would anywhere else. Wait for a sale or go in prepared to haggle. Their delivery guys are great and have always taken great care when bringing stuff in unlike some other companies.

Salespeople are pretty hungry which isn't my favourite environment but the sales and selection was good and the staff was knowledgeable.
Also feels good to buy from a Canadian company!

I was just in Trail Appliances on Thursday night (Fantastic they are open late at least one night of the week). I was dealing with the gentleman at the parts counter who was absolutely splendid to deal with. As we walked up he was studying, so my father (He is 85) and I started asking him what he was taking in school. My father being as old fashioned as he is made a rather rude remark about what he was studying. The man took it in stride and even respectfully explained the program and situation as to inform my father. Another person may have been quite offended and he was very respectful and pleasant. We got our part and we were back on our way after visiting many other stores over the last week. Thank you for the great experience and we will be back!

Salesperson was very helpful - understood my needs and budget, great understanding of the products they have and quality, helped me get the right stove, was very efficient, price was very competitive. Picked up stove right away and it was put into my vehicle for me. Again, all very efficient.

Just talked with Trail AGAIN. Told me a service man would be out to fix the refrigerator in 8 days. This is the third appointment going back 2 weeks already. The first two were cancelled by Trail on the day of the appointment. BUT no quick reschedule. Just put us back into the regular Queue. We have purchased a number of items from trail for thousands of dollars but apparently this does not matter. Lady on the phone basically blew me off when I asked for a quicker appointment and gave me attitude. I will not be going back. Apparently they are too big an operation to be considerate of someone taking off three days of work to wait for a phone call to tell me when he will arrive.

Worst customer service ever.... they do not stand behind their products...
Bought my laundry pair for my new house. Pay the delivery and extended warranty to trail appliances and when we got them, the delivery guys said that we would experience some staining for the first couple of weeks. As a customer you believe in a company. what a terrible mistake!! 6 months later machine still defective clothes keep coming out with stains and now is my fault because it's "impossible for the machine to cause the stains" so yes trail appliances I want to ruine my clothes on purpose... thank you very much for nothing... I loved spending 3 hours of my time for you to do nothing even though your tech guy suggested a replacement. NEVER going back..
SHOP SOMEWHERE ELSE, where the store really knows what customer service and quality means...

Kayla was amazing when I was purchasing my washer and dryer she worked hard to find one that not only fit my needs but also the limited space I had. She checked in with me to make sure everything was working properly. Kayla went above and beyond she is the only one I will deal with there from now on. Love this girl to bits for the helpful polite caring compassionate care she took for me

We like what we see in the store, went online found better deal at Costco. Sales person said they will price match.
We end up buying from Costco with advantage of free shipping and 2 years warranty instead of 1. Plus 2% cash back.

So don't believe the original price tag, it just making you feel you got a good deal, marking strategy.

Costco price not even on sale and it's lower than Trails sale price 30% off.

In February, we purchased all new appliances for a kitchen renovation from Margo M. who was, hands down, a fantastic sales rep. All of our appliances were held in storage at their warehouse until we were ready for them. She answered all of our questions about the products before, during and after our reno. She made a special call to have us pick up our cook top a little early as they had been selling fast and were being back ordered so she wanted to ensure we had ours secured rather than leave it in their warehouse...so considerate. We also had a slight manufacturer problem with the wall oven and called Margo who, within the hour of our call, contacted the service dept, who then called us to arrange a service appointment for us. Amazing service! And we love all of our appliances!

I am very disappointed at this company. I though I will buy products from a local store to support the local business but now I regret. My wife burnt her hand while trying to use a oven bought from this store. I bought thousands worth of products and most of them broke down as soon as the warranties over. When you call the store they will simply tell you the warranty is over and tell you to deal with the manufactures. They will offer you their service call at a rate that will make you feel like they are sending a rocket scientist to check a spacecraft !!!! It seems like they sell products just to run as long as the warranty goes. I guess this business is trying to make money by selling poor quality products and than from their expensive service charges. I find this a scam, To those reading this, my personal opinion is to stay away from this store. I put on 1 star because I had to, to post this but the store needs to be reported to the business bureau.

I have been a loyal customer for many years and will continue to do so. My last visit on Friday March 17, was to purchase a house hold of kitchen appliances with my Sister who is moving into a new home. We were helped by Kayla and were shown many wonderful options, she really knows her products, once we knew what we wanted, she went to see Barrett the Manager to discuss our budget, she came back with a deal we could not refuse!!! Once again, Barrett helped us out knowing our circumstances and past buying history he did the best he could and we really appreciate his customer service. He is a relationship builder and that is why I continue to recommend Trail Appliances as the place to shop. By the way, I my self have been in sales for 38 years and I speak from experience when I say Barrett knows how to look after his customers. All the best!!! Les Kiss

Staff are very smart and were able to show me exactly what it needed and also told me why is shouldn't buy the product i came in thinking i wanted. They were extremely honest and I'm happy with my purchase. I was very happy with their prices as they were much cheaper than anyone else when i was looking around. Will be back for our next purchases in the future.

Very friendly and knowledgeable staff even when I came in 30 mins before closing to look at and purchase a dishwasher. Clean store and nicely laid out. Parts desk also very nice and quick. Pleasure doing business there, will go back for future appliances and would recommend friends and family to visit.
