Trail Appliances - Calgary Central

I had the absolute worst experience with a sales lady at this location. (South location Calgary) Her name was Margo and she was just absolutely horrible to deal with. She was rude and pushy, she made me feel so small and unimportant. I cannot believe they would have someone like this representing their company! This woman should never be in customer service ever!!!!I will never ever shop at Trail again just because of her.

We purchased a gas Range from Shirley, who was very helpful and not your typical salesperson. She explained the differences and let us choose what fit our needs. After the gas range was installed (private company), a few days later there was a very small gas smell. I contacted Shirley and she had their service department call us back to get someone out to look at it. The guy they sent could not smell it or find the a leak. A few days later the smell came back we we contacted them again. They sent the same service guy and he said he would order parts. 2 weeks after, we have not heard a thing so called back and the service department had no documentation on this. I asked for the service manager to call us back but for some reason he refuses to call us. We always get someone else who is not involved and doesn't know our situation and we have to explain it all over again. . Finally a threat to return the gas range prompted then to send someone else to look at it. I cant remember the guys name but he was very knowledgeable and polite. He found the small gas leak in the regulator and replaced it. I gave it 5 stars solely because of the last repair guy and Shirley the sales person. I don't understand why the service manager would never call me back.

I just wanted to take a minute to express my sincere appreciation to the good folks at Trail Appliances in Inglewood for their terrific sales service and then - the amazing follow-up installation. The install technician not only was timely, tidy and professional - but he answered my (myriad) questions regarding maintenance, and upkeep of my new appliance. Top-drawer job, folks! Thanks so much!

This is a local company to avoid. The have a virtual monopoly and service and quality assurance suffer as a result. There are many companies such as Coast, Bradlee, Sears, Costco, The Brick who provide far better service with comparable prices.

Trail doesn't stand behind what they sell. If you have any problems they just shrug their shoulders and tell you to contact the manufacturer.
