Tropicana Lounge

This is a really good local area bar, good food and service and beer selection.

Fine little pub in my neighbourhood. For me it's not a destination & I would not get in my car to go here. It's a nice walk. Yesterday (Saturday Night) we were able to get a table on the deck at 6pm in 25 degree weather! That's worth 5 stars! ✨ As I was walking in, I was noticing the beers in front of people. Somehow - none of them looked good. (Glasses not frosted & seemingly not enough bubbles.). We ordered 2 draught beer ... and my intuition was right. My 2nd beer was a bottled Corona. We ordered Pizza & Salad to share. The Kale Salad was as it should be. Its KALE! 😆 Turns out our pizza was given to another table - so we waited & waited. (No worry / no rush - its Sat night.). Pizza was crazy salty (it was a meattarian ... so no surprise I guess on processed meat.) I drank a ton of water all night. Yes - I'll be back for the patio & fine walk. (Hopefully there will be a good IPA on tap next time.)
