Had a unforgettable camping experience in late September. You can charge your phone in the toilet where there is electricity source. The toilet is hygiene for a fresh wash in the forest with warm heater supply. Around 2.45am, saw a Grizzly bear when I was dying of cold from the campground so shifted into the car for a defrost. The vague view of Grizzly Bear from car is amazing and exciting although it was a huge black shadow crossing over the road.

Nice large camp sites. Washrooms are very busy and often there is a lineup in the mornings. They do need to monitor people washing dishes in the bathrooms more especially at busy times as there is a dishwashing station just outside the washrooms and this would help prevent the line up to wash hands. Lots of firewood available and is included with your site.

Great place to camp if you have an RV. Ample firewood and excellent washroom facilities. Still looking to find shoeers. The views of the mountains are incredible. Park Staff very friendly.

The lodgepole pines provide little privacy, but the campground is well maintained. The dishwashing station at the shower building was very convenient. We stayed in J29, and while we couldn't see the mountains through the trees a great view was available just a couple dozen meters down a trail that connects all the village's campgrounds.

Nice lots. Hard ground. Similar to other parks Canada camping lots. Friendly staff and guests.

Lots of space and easy check in - showers and bathrooms were meh though. I just washed off at the faucet instead cus it felt cleaner. Good location though to access the town of Banff. Lake Moraine and Louise are about an hour north.

Camping in the forest on small loops. Ground is hard so bring some serious pegs. Touristic and crowded village Banff nearby. Clean and well organized.

Very nice spots and clean showers.
Seems like it can run out of room sometimes. Great staff. No Wi-Fi.

User

Great spot for camping. Good facilities. The crowds are usually pretty good, and if they aren't then the staff is usually pretty good at handling them. We love it here.

Perfect sites. Great access to hiking, biking, sight seeing. Knowledgable courteous staff.

Waiting on kids in ski lessons at Norquay, some days are relaxing in the lodge while others are all out war for space battles with teen racers who are rude and slobby and try to fit too many friends in too little area. Lodge seems to have had an increase in heat budget this year as well. There is also now warm water to wash hands. Just need better paper towel dispensers now and emergency doors used just for emergencies not common entry/exits during cold weather.

Great place to stay if you have a 5th wheeler or camper that needs power. Otherwise if your tenting I'd prefer somewhere like Two Jack Main.
