Can you just align it. Thanks.....

People always ask me. If a rotor is just a chunk of steel. Then why do I need to replace them? Simply put. They wear out. Even though the brake rotors look physically ok they can cause issues over time from hot/cold cycles that they go through on a regular basis. Brakes are the most important components on a vehicle. What happens when you can't stop 5000 lbs at 100 km per hour?

Today is a sad day. Today we lost a valuable friend and brother by choice, James Stigant. Tweekers will be closed tomorrow June 6 2018 to morn his passing. Please respect the family and give them time to morn. To Mike Stigant and Dawn Stigant our deepest condolences to you and your family.

I bought a new Hyundai Elantra in January 2013. The car handled terribly in winter road conditions. It was really unsafe to drive, with the backend swinging back and forth every time I’d hit any ice or snow. I bought good winter tires, which didn’t help at all. After 3 ineffective wheel alignments at local garages over a span of about 2 years, I brought my car to Tweekers last fall. An hour later, they had diagnosed my issue and ordered the necessary parts to finally fix it properly. 2 inexpensive shims and a bit of labour later, and the car drove all winter like it’s supposed to. Great experience all around.
