friendly service , always make sure your car is well serviced and clean. Have to ask for loaner in advance when booking appointment, otherwise it's shuttle

The cars seem great, so I was excited to come in and look at the XC90 and a V60.... It would have been nice to have had some help. Or at least be recognized as I walk through the door (my experience at other dealerships has been that people generally say hello to me when I enter, or after a few minutes of lingering). I did attempt to communicate with the sales staff that was there ... No luck. If you were working at 6pm on October 19th, sitting at the desk to the left of the temporary front entrance, you Literally suck at your job. You are a seriously poor representation of what seems to be an excellent brand. It's to bad there's not another Volvo dealer around, I will likely avoid the brand now :(

The sales team were great, the business office went above and beyond managing an inter-provincial sale but where Valentine Volvo really shone for me was in the after-care.
I purchased a used vehicle and shortly after getting home a problem came to light that wouldn't have surfaced in the pre-sale inspection. The service team not only text-walked me through managing it but made it really clear that they were interested in doing whatever needed to be done to make it right.
It's easy to sell a quality new product but it shows more integrity and investment in long term relationships to solve a problem that crops up after the profit has been made. Huge thanks to Bill O. who was particularly patient and kind.
When the time comes to invest in my next vehicle Valentine Volvo will be on my short list of dealerships to return to.

Super dealership with good sales people and lots of good cars. Renovating now part of the show room.

A car dealership that doesn't have any of the stereotypical slimy car dealership types anywhere near it.

I discovered that the majority of the staff have been there many years. This tells you something about the great culture and family feeling they have. This translates into a much better experience for the customer. Well done!

Update: I just purchased a XC60 from Valentine Volvo, and am very impressed with Bruce Ellis and his outstanding service. This is my second go round with Valentine Volvo and the in the first go round we couldn't come to a deal, but Bruce contacted me when a near identical car came in to stock and went above and beyond to get me in to the car I wanted. Great dealership that made things right and Bruce is a real standup guy.

See Update: Yesterday I decided to stop by Valentine Volvo to take a look for an awd wagon and I was greeted by Bruce Ellis, I told him what I was after and my budget for a vehicle. Bruce and I looked at a couple wagons then he told me about a 2015 xc60 they had on the lot, so I looked at it and we took it for a test drive. At that point I was very interested, it was the right color, it had all the right options and we explored it further and we spoke about my 2015 GTI PP I was looking to trade in. The manager had a look at it and Bruce asked if I wanted to take the vehicle over night so my wife could look at it and they could work out the trade value on my car. I was very interested, so I took him up on the offer and took it home for the night. My wife and I agreed the Volvo would be a great fit for our family and agreed if the numbers lined up we should buy it. This morning I went to drop off the xc60 and buy it if everything looked good(financially). I went in and Bruce and I sat down and he said they would do $32,000 on my GTI and the xc60 was $36,388. I thought it sounded good since they were offering little to no discount and the trade value was close to the buy out on my lease, so Bruce and I signed an offer and he went to see if he could get me a thousand or so off. When he returned he told me that his manager wrote the wrong trade value and it was $10,000 less. He said he would call around and see if he could get a better value and he would get back to me. Later we spoke on the phone several times and basically the trade value would come up and Valentine Volvo wouldn't offer any discount on the vehicle so we could make a deal. The last time we spoke I was told that the car had been sold to a couple in Edmonton and maybe in the future we could look at a different deal on a different vehicle. Bruce was great to deal with, but I am very disappointed that the dealer wouldn't make any effort to make things right, I even offered to come up and meet them in the middle after their error. Anyways that was my experience at Valentine Volvo, a very disappointing experience.

I am very pleased with my used vehicle shopping experience at Valentine Volvo. My sales person was Justin Rietveld. Justin quickly made me feel like a valued and trusted customer. He allowed me to test drive the vehicle alone then went through the inspection and all the information the dealership had on the vehicle.

The inspection had revealed a possible problem with the engine. The dealership had decided to wholesale the car. But, given the excellent price of the vehicle, I was tempted to buy it and take a chance on repairing it. Justin suggested I have the engine tested first, and then if the engine was fine, I could purchase it.

It turned out that the engine repair was going to be more than the cost of the vehicle. Justin's advice saved my family from considerable expense. Putting the customer first is often advertised, but is seldom what happens. In my case, the dealership and sales person definitely put the customer first and I would whole heartedly recommend them for their flexibility and caring attitude.

A wonderful family run business that looks after your Volvo like it's theirs. While their shop fees may seem on the expensive side, there's never been a time when my car didn't come back to me completely repaired. In the ten years that I have been a client there haven't been any mechanical surprises, large mileage based work is signaled far ahead of time, and the pricing of work is well explained and straightforward to understand.

Valentine Volvo treats both its customers and employees fairly and with dignity, and as a result I am pleased to recommend them.
