Value Village

A great place to find inexpensive, but awesome clothing, and household items. Lots of great vintage pieces, and interesting items to be found.

This value village is standard thrift store experience: fairly limited selection, middling quality and generally low prices, although not always as affordable as you might hope, and upon occasion, somewhat excessive. If you want an adventure, it's fine, usually offering up interesting doodads, ect. If you want to consistently cloth yourself for a good price, it's hit and miss.

Take your time, they have a lot of things to go through, pet section has good finds

I liked the store. It was just not enough people on tills. That was very maddening.

It's always a fun place to shop. Staff helpful if you ARE looking for a certain item. Only problem: overpricing. Even some used items, once bought at Dollar Store, are above Dollar Store price. I do like their book sales, otherwise their pricing system for books keeps me away from buying there.

This is a neat value village almost like a giant garage sale. Cheap prices and cool stuff. Seems to have unique items because of the location on Whyte ave what gets donated here is unique and vintage

Prices compare to brand new if not more for used items that were donated for free. I went to buy my own items that my ex donated and was appalled to see what they were charging to buy them back. Goodwill is a better choice to donate items as they only charge one price for all shirts, pants, jackets etc. AND the money fully goes to charity less operating expenses. Value village only donates items that have been on the racks over 60 days (used to be yellow tags) on 1 day of the week to the CNIB the rest of the days are full profit for the owners. So if you think donating to help the less fortunate is going to make you feel better donate either to a shelter or Goodwill

Some of the coolest clothing if you search hard enough. Always leave the store with something neat and brand name.
