Wonderful fresh and made from scratch food by a certified Red Seal Chef! Fast food that is healthy and soooo yummy! They do an amazing job catering, too. If you haven't experienced the Velvet Cafe, it is time to!!!

We've ordered food for lunch meetings several times from you and you're always on time, label everything perfectly and have been wonderful to work with. Today my office surprised me for my birthday and ordered from you and I understand now why we've had people phone and ask where we brought them lunch from! Your sandwiches are delicious! Thank you for being so awesome and keep up the great work �

Used to go there a lot when visiting my Mom - she was just down the street a few doors, so very handy. Food and coffee always excellent. Had been under different management a few times. Fond memories - my Mom passed away 2 years ago so I don't go there often now (I live in the southern States), but would highly recommend it. I will be back.

Recently went with my friend and I was amazed by this cozy place. The kind man that took my order also prepared my sandwich, achiote sirloin pork and garlic aioli with a bit of spice in it, fantastic. Fresh, healthy, different. I even got asked how was my sandwich. Well done!

One of the best sandwiches I've ever had was from Velvet Cafe - and their weekly specials have been top notch too. Great food, great people. Check this place out.

Not from Calgary but wish I was just so I could make a Red Velvet Mocha a weekly experience. LOVE the food and service and always try to make it into the shop with my sister when I'm in town.

My wife and I went to the Velvet Cafe for lunch today. What a great spot! We shared the elk salami sandwich, chicken Caesar salad, and home made broccoli cheddar soup. Everything is made from scratch and really well done! Thank you!

I eat here 2-5 times a week and I have never had a bad meal. Freshly prepared daily by a talented and funny chef, locally sourced ingredients, super friendly staff and great value for what you pay. A hidden gem. Go and support a great local cafe.

Great food, great hot beverages and awesome staff! A seriously awesome crew works at Velvet! I always have an amazing experience staying to work or getting something to go. My boyfriend and I love the mac and cheese, custard lattes and soups! Oh and the hazelnut croissant. Oh and the tea selection. Oh and the fact that they use local milk and eggs. Oh and the fact that they use fair trade coffee.

EggNog Latté is the best in the world !! Coq au vin Stew also a homerun. Great brewed coffee and lattés. Anything I've eaten or drank is fabulous. All made onsite fresh... Oh, the Beet, Spinach, Feta Salad WOW!!

Ate at Velvet for the first time last Tuesday the 24th... had the tomato bisque and a veggie wrap! It was so delicious. I took half home cause it was very filling...also took home a chocolate chip/ oatmeal muffin
