Vern'S Pizza - 28T St

I understand the other person concerns about the size. I use to order from the “original” owner in Saskatoon. The pizzas were HUGE!!!
$2.50 a slice and 2 just stuffed you. Today they’re half of what they were and more expensive

We order here regularly. If you're looking for pizza absolutely loaded with toppings, check this place out. All those toppings do make this place just a bit pricey. But you can order "lite" pizzas too.

Stopped in at about 4:00pm for a single slice. Slice was small, old and dried out (from lunch i'm assuming), and the price was ridiculous! $4.19! What a shame, this place used to be amazing! Won't be going back.

Previously Vern's Pizza has had fantastic pizza with toppings at least an inch thick. The first and last order recently was very disappointing in that the toppings were a fraction of what they used to be for far more money than they were at that time.

Too expensive for what is a very average pizza.

Food was great and delivered promptly, I order the 2 for 1 pizza's (Which for what they were was quite expensive). I received a condescending phone call afterwards from a manager at Vern's telling me not to use skip the dishes. Even though everything skip the dishes did was right, he tried to get me to say they somehow didn't, and said to not use them and use their delivery service instead. Why partner with skip the dishes if you don't want your customers to use them? The manager (His name was either Dave or Dan I believe) even tried to bribe me with future discounts so that I wouldn't use skip the dishes again. Like I said, food was good and hot, but probably not ordering from Vern's again after that fiasco.

Horrible service , can't understand or comprehend a simple pizza and wing order.Just lost my business and I was very hungry

Don't order pizzas for these guys they have no idea were they located. Can barely understand them.

Don't waste your time and money

This was the most ridiculous price I've ever paid for such a piece of crap pizza with next to nothing for toppings very little cheese and thin crust it used to be thicker than 2 packs of cigarettes now not even as thick as 1 and oh ya 1-15in 40 bucks don't waist your time and thanks who ever the new owners are you've ruined a CALGARY TRADITION
P, S I WIL NEVER ORDER FROM VERNS AGAIN........ If I could I wouldn't even rate this ordered from Verns for years way to sad to see it go RIP Verns it was good while it lasted
