To anticipate some of the questions and comments about the construction:
... 1) The climbing closure does not apply to Ha-Ling or EEOR. Single lane traffic on the road will require patience to get the areas though. 2) The road work is a much needed major upgrade, involving repairing the road bed, anchoring the gabion wall, and installing a new guardrail. The work is being done in the summer months, because some of the materials being used (shotcrete) requires an a temperature of 10-25 c at application and min of +5 for 24 hours after application. 3) From a climbers point of view, the road work is short term pain for long term gain. The road work will mean less rockfall.
