Backcountry warriors! There has been a voluntary recall on the Ortovox 3+ tranceivers with 2.1 software installed. It is not life or death, the software just needs a free upgrade as they have found software 2.1 has a slight delay switching to search mode. To see your software number, simple turn your transceiver on and it will flash, and the number shown after your battery level will be your software number. (Such as in the photo below). If you or someone you know has #2.1 please reach out to myself at Vicious Jasper and we will get it resolved. We should be able to get it back to you within the week so you won’t loose any time out there!
