This repair was a slog of a job but happy to report another Marvel vs Streetfighter has been successfully restored! This converted cabinet had quite a messy wiring job inside. After much patient recabling, Ryu vs Hulk can finally rumble!

Salah's math class at the Ross Sheppard High School is a great place to crunch some numbers or to crunch your peers at Marvel vs Street Fighter. Enjoy guys!

Remember those old RF switches that line into your coaxial cable - the ones that you made you pick channel 3 or 4 to display the video signal...ahh the good old days. We upgraded this Colecovision to output video and dual mono audio onto some newly installed RCA ports. Much better picture and a heck of a lot easier to hook up to your TV.

Water Damaged Nintendo switch wasn’t turning on when it came to the shop. We put in a new LCD and got picture back only to discover that the touch wasn’t working. Our very astute tech Morgan discovered a burnt out trace on the daughter board controlling the digitizer. Little bit of circuit repair and we are back in business!

Nifty setup Morgan built today for bench top arcade board diagnosis and repairs. This will be a back saver!

This 3DS battery is SWOL!

This is my second time using these guys. Often you will find that repairing an older console is too time consuming, or it takes too long, or it cost too much. These guys fixed my Sega CD that was basically garbage, and just now I got a call telling me my NES is up and running again. I love that they take the time to call you BEFORE they do any work to give you the cost and even the breakdown of said cost. The turn around time for both systems was less than 2 weeks from drop off to pick up. Why f*ck with it? Get Videogamerepairs to do the job for you!

The Sequel Cafe has an old table top Ms. PacMan game that sadly died one day during lunch. Daniel was able to diagnose and repair the game to better than previous condition. He was determined to get the game running again and graciously undercharged us on labour. Cheers to great independent service! Many thanks!

Super stoked with the awesome people and atmosphere here! Bought a Dreamcast on a recent vacation only to get it home to find it doesn't work. Brought it in and not even five days later and I'm able to pick it up and play. And not only did they fix it but they cleaned it up for me as Well! You guys are awesome! Will definitely come back again when something else inevitably breaks and I can't figure out what's wrong.

Outstanding business. Brought my cracked Apple iPhone 6 screen here to be replaced.

The staff was super friendly, and very profficient. VGR took only 45 minutes to replace the screen. I would not hesitate to bring them any broken cell phones, malfunctioning electronics, or expensive Apple products. Don't look further than Video Game Repairs. I wish them much success in the future.

My husband and kids stopped by today and had husbands Xbox360 repaired. Thank you so much for such great service and amazing customer service. I have heard nothing but what a great time they had, and finally I have peace and quiet, all boys on the Xbox now :) thank you Morgan

My Virtual Boy woes are over! I stopped by the shop a number of times this autumn to get a few things fixed, including a button and Circle Pad issue with my 3DS and a disc read error on a GameCube. But the thing I am writing in particular about is a Virtual Boy that I was recently given from a friend who found it at a garage sale, but turned out to not actually be in perfect working condition. One of the eyes wasn't working, so I brought it in. Dan fixed the eye, but shortly after the other one crapped out, yet he was able to fix that too. Each time I have brought in something for these guys to fix, they have been quick and courteous. But I am most appreciative and impressed that they were able to fix the Virtual Boy, an uncommon and unique 19-year-old platform, probably not something you would necessarily expect just anyone to deal with, but Videogamerepairs did, and did it well, so if it was a test you could say they passed with flying colours! Even though with the Virtual Boy, ironically you'd only see red... Yeah, Dan did great. Thanks again!

I had a great experience with Videogame Repairs. Very practical service, helpful advice and a refreshingly organised place for a repair shop. They've a great selection of systems for sale too. I'm eyeing up a GameCube for winter - 10/10, would review again!

I didn't really want to send my son's console away to the factory for repairs and the other thing is that we are from out of town. I was surprised that they said it could be fixed right away so I wouldn't need to make a second trip. This is on a Saturday, which is great because coming midweek is impossible. Even better was when they opened the console and found the repair would be less expensive than quoted.



I'm super happy with the service and the price. Definitely would come here again.

Helpful and friendly staff. Much more trustworthy than bigger companies in dealing with them. Hopefully I won't need any more help in the future but if I do I will return. Would certainly recommend to any one else.

Finally got my PS3 fixed. I was having intermittent audio cut out and thought it would be an expensive fix ... turned out to be corrupted software. So happy it was fixed within 48 hours for under $100. Thanks for the fast turning around.

Excellent service, great prices. So happy they were able to fix my "yellow light of death" on my ps3! Was only off gaming for 3 days! Would definitely recommend for all your console repair needs!!
