Vikings In The Streets Festival

Located in Viking, Alberta. June 12 and 13, 2020.

Background:
2020 will be the tenth year for the Vikings in the Streets Festival in Viking, Alberta. Just east of Edmonton on Highway 14. Viking and the surrounding area is supported mainly by agriculture and the oil & gas sector. The Town of Viking has a diverse population of residents and a lot of young families have been returning to the area
.
The goal of the Festival each year is to provide fun, family oriented activities to all age groups. We encourage non-profit groups to take part as a way to fund raise.

The Festival began as an idea by some very creative and forward thinking residents of Viking. Starting up a summer festival was quite a task and it has grown each year, adding new events, and new volunteers to help run it.
