Cochrane Volleyball is looking for an extra women's team for a fun rec/int tournament that they are running this weekend (they had a last minute drop-out).
Here is the info if anyone knows some ladies interested in playing:
It is a fun SKINS tournament, guaranteed 6 matches. 4 out of town teams and 3 local, looking for one more to play.... Teams play for $5.00 gift cards to a local watering hole, winning a $5 card for every set they win in the tourney. Free pizza at Ducks on the Roof Sports Bar, free fruit and snacks too! SLS also has day passes to the facility which includes pool, therapy pool and more

GYM Rat Youth Sports is a new set of programs being offered at our GYM facility. The intent is to promote active lifestyles and encourage teamwork through sport. There's no place like dome <3. A home to great adult leagues and kids clubs that are open to all skill levels. Giving every kid a chance to learn and play the game. Truly a warm and friendly environment to play and learn in!

The Volleydome is the best place in Calgary to host a volleyball tournament. They are easy to work with and accommodating; high ceiling and easy to adjust net system, with benches and score cards ready to go.

Our son finished a week long camp at the new location. Instructors and facility were 10/10. Will def spread the word and sigh him up for another session!

It was my second home growing up. Best volleyball and coaches in Calgary, perhaps even in Canada

If you play there long enough, they'll put a big poster of you on the wall

Growing up, this place was my home away from home. Then, it was a family run facility that had cultivated a small but close knit community of passionate volleyballers. It is now wonderful to see a few years later (okay maybe more like a decade and change later), that the sport has exploded in Calgary, much of it centered around the Volleydome. The only challenge now is finding a parking spot to get into the facility!
