Wags unlimited is based in Canmore / Banff, Alberta in the beautiful Rocky Mountains.
We run popular, fun and dog friendly training classes year round: everything from Puppy Foundation Skills class, Adolescent "Manners" training to fun Nose Work, tricks and more advanced training as well as do private one-on-one training / and in-home consultations.

Being a strong believer in continuing education and staying up-to-date with learning and training techniques, Wags unlimited also hosts educational dog seminars for other dog trainers as well as dog enthusiasts.

Before getting into dog training, Annette Young (owner of the business) had graduated from University with a Degree in the Visual Arts, was a photographer and worked for several years as a photojournalist as well as operating a small photography business. Now she's picked up her camera again after years of focusing on just the behavioural aspect of DOGS - and the two passions are logically merging together: dogs in training as well as custom photography.

Annette's training tools are based on dog friendly philosophies such as:
• Positive reinforcement, motivational and dog friendly techniques, and interactive play
• Good guidance, clever management and reinforcing good habits while preventing bad ones.
Bottom line is really this: if we foster strong and healthy relationships between people and their dogs, there is no force needed in the training process. It's just a matter of tweaking the connection and communication - and celebrating the resulting bond : -) That's our passion - seeing that happen - perhaps initially in training and then documenting that, in photographs.
