Waterton Shoreline Cruise Co. is a family owned /operated business that began offering cruises on Waterton Lake in the mid-1950's. Originally cruising aboard the small 25-passenger Original Miss Waterton, we have expanded our fleet over the years to its current 4-vessel size: the 48-passenger sister-vessels Roddy-Paul and Connie-Marlene; the 125-passenger Miss Waterton; and our flagship, the 165-passenger Historic M. V. International, which was built on Waterton Lake in 1927!

With the third generation of family now beginning to play a more prominent role in operations, we continue to stress, more than ever, a friendly, outgoing, informative and entertaining, interpretive commentary. We continue to offer the most experienced crew, and strive to provide best quality boat tours in the Canadian Rockies!

Our regularly scheduled sightseeing cruise is 2 and ¼ hours in duration, and includes a ½ hour stop at Goat Haunt – the northern gateway to Glacier National Park. Debark at this beautiful, sheltered, uncommercialized area to experience the visitor center which exhibits park history, flora and fauna. As Goat Haunt is a United States Class B Port of Entry, anyone planning to stay beyond the standard ½ hour stop to hike, will have to clear customs and will be required to display only accepted ID. The most popular hike at Goat Haunt is Kootenai Lakes, which is only 4 km from Goat Haunt and is considered some of the best moose habitat in Waterton-Glacier International Peace Park.

The Crypt Lake hike is one of the most unique hikes you'll ever encounter. In 2014 National Geographic rated this hike as one of the World's 20 Most Thrilling Trails! The hike features a 15 minute boat ride across Upper Waterton Lake to the trailhead at Crypt Landing. The trail passes close to 4 spectacular waterfalls: Hell Roaring Falls (1 km), Twin Falls (3. 5 km), Burnt Rock Falls (5. 6 km) and Crypt Falls (8 km). A highlight for many is the steel ladder and 60 foot tunnel through the mountain. After a short maneuver around a cliff (with cable for added security), hikers arrive at beautiful Crypt Lake.
