One of our Naturalist Audrey Lane Cockett will be doing a video shoot for @weaselheadpark this Wednesday & looking for a volunteer to help out! Tasks would include: helping move equipment around the park hanging out in the shade while shoot is happening, asking strangers to please be quiet for the next 5 minutes or move out of the shot please... Fair bit of walking and carrying things outside at the park Nature. Poetry. Film. Connections. Light snacks. Message us if you are interested!

Please join us for a wonderful one-hour guided Nature Walk starting at 11 a.m. We launch into lunch, a Szechuan feast, shortly after noon, and yes, it's all FREE!

We were thrilled to find a Western Bumble Bee with Wildlife Preservation Canada on our Bioblitz today! This species of #BumbleBee has been assessed as threatened by the Committee on the Status of Endangered Wildlife in Canada.
Thanks to TD Friends of the Environment Foundation - TD FEF for supporting this event!

Our next Bioblitz is this Sunday & all about #Bumblebees! Joining us will be Wildlife Preservation Canada to help us identify species in the park. Space is limited, so register today!
