West Coast Kids

We looked a lot online and other places and models but we decided to check out West coast kids in South Calgary because of the high quality of products. My husband and I visited the store couple days ago and we were so delighted with the products and most especially to the staff. Staff Danica, who is so cheerful, knowledgeable and patient together with her colleague helped us overcome our ignorance as first time parents. We were overwhelmed by the selection of different products and Staff Danica took the time to explain and demonstrate different products with us. Luckily we came here! and purchased several items. We will be back again for more :)STRONGLY RECOMMEND!

We came here looking for a nursery chair and Karen was so helpful and knowledgeable. She was patient as we debated between two models. We came back the next day and purchased the chair because we were so pleased with her service. She didn’t pressure us or anything. When we came back we took some more time to look at other things in the store. Karen and Sophie both helped us with picking out a monitor. They were fantastic. So many great things in this store. We came all the way from Saskatchewan and it was well worth the trip. We will be back!

Went to West Coast (South) to purchase a glider. We were impressed with the selection. Katelyn helped us out and was awesome - very nice and helpful. Product purchased was good quality and manufactured in Calgary. Good to see businesses supporting Canadian made product. Will be back.

I've been to West Coast Kids a few times while shopping for nursery furniture for my first baby. What a fantastic store! In my most recent visit, Rachel assisted me and she was super helpful! Her customer service and product knowledge were fantastic. I really appreciated all her help!!! She made my purchase easy! Thank you Rachel!

Our experience buying our baby crib, stroller and much more has been great! Karen and her team have always gone above and beyond at finding what's great for our family. We always look forward to go see all their new merchandise.

The staff are very helpful, patient and knowledgeable. My husband and I went here as first time parents, and Debbie and Katelyn were very helpful in demonstrating products and had many suggestions for things that we might need, or what might be a better product for our needs. We ended up purchasing our car seat and baby carrier here. Definitely a well outfitted store with lots of selection!

I registered at West Coast Kids after visiting the store once - they have good quality furniture and gear, and the salespeople are quite attentive. It seems that it's good to shop for big ticket things well in advance of needing them as what you want may have to be ordered. I was able to get stuff at a variety of price points on my list, which was great.

My fiance and I visited the store in South Calgary and we have never been so pleased with a retailer! The staff were warm, inviting, and extremely patient with us. As first time parents we felt overwhelmed by the selection and several employees took the time to explain and demonstrate products with us.

I can't begin to tell you how much we appreciated this after visiting several other retailers with little to no assistance, so much that we returned later (where the staff recognized us) and we purchased several items. Because of the amazing service and product knowledge we will definitely be shopping here again!

Their little shoe selection is quite good. There were lots of options for a very picky 2 year old to find shoes that she liked to wear. They were patient with us as they had to go to the back quit a few times. Their selection of furniture seems big, but it's all high end. So you will pay a little more here. All our experiences here have always been good.

Staffs are HORRIBLE here! They don't understand what does customer service mean. They never have time for you !!!! Always there are 6-8 of them there but you have to waste time in the lineup... Like what's the point in working for a kids store if you can't even give correct guidance or don't have time to assist customers!! This is the most ridiculous shopping place ever! Plus there return policy is The worst !!! Everyone tells me about that and they don't shop there anymore because of this and would rather order online at amazon. Don't waste your money there ! I wish I could give them no " star"

I shop at west coast a lot and literally EVERYTIME I call to double check an item is in stock they don't understand what I'm asking or within 1 minute say "no we don't have it " so I'll call the other beacon hill location they tell me yes both stores have the items in stock . Beacon is so amazing to deal with but since I live closer to the south one I call there first. So then I have to call back the south location and say yes you do have it in stock can you check again . Then they say oh yes you're correct we do have it . Like what's the point in working for a kids store if you can't even give correct info or don't have to time to assist customers!! This is the most ridiculous thing ever !! Plus there return policy is HORRIBLE !!! As a new mom to be, I was overwhelmed with all the baby carrier options. Thankfully, the staff was very knowledgable and helpful. For instance, Erin went above and beyond and spent a lot of time with me, and demonstrated how each carrier functioned; this made my choice so much easier. Thank you Erin for all your support and knowledge, I will certainly be back for future purchases.

Really disappointed with the return policy and accommodation here. I had a defective product that I bought on sale but went back to exchange. I had to pay the difference of the regular priced product to what I paid in order to exchange the product! I then received a make my belly fit jacket extender as a gift. Found out I had to buy an adapter so I went and got sized and realized with the sales associate I need to order my adapter from the make my belly fit website. Assuming it would work I removed the original packaging only to realize upon receiving my adapter that both my jackets zippers were too thick for the product. Called West Coast kids and they were not willing to accommodate at all and offer a store credit, zero customer service. Will not be making my baby registry with them nor purchase any more items.
