Western Canadian Canine Academy

All levels of Obedience, Group Classes, Puppy Education Classes, Sport Detection Classes, Private in-home lessons, and Behavior Modification.

All classes and lessons are taught by a Certified Professional Trainer. WCCA believes a positive and balanced relationship with clear communication is key to a happy, confident, and obedient canine friend. Our obedience is taught with a reward based system using markers to communicate with your dog in a clear and consistent manner.

Our Puppy Education Classes are rolling admission so you can start any time after your puppy has had a first vaccine and health check. We believe that starting to establish a positive relationship as soon as possible with socialization can set a great foundation and prevent bad habits before they occur!

Sport Detection is about having fun with your dog as well as building relationships with teamwork! With our classes we focus on independence with a clear and calm indication to odor. We love to see dogs and their handlers strive to compete in this sport and continue to watch it grow here in Alberta!
