We were told an xray is not critical for a thumb-just a strain, ice and a brace. Good thing we went to the Children's hospital that same night, there was a fracture...

If I could take away starts, I would be delighted to swipe them off from this clinic.

I had a chronic migraine I went in to get checked out at their walk in clinic. First I had Dr. Ishfaq who was a great listener and sent me for a couple tests and a prescription to control the migraine in the mean time. He said he would follow up with me after the tests came back and if they were inconclusive, would set me up with a neurologist to ensure there wasn't an underlying disease. Very nice gentleman but unfortunately he did not follow up with me even after two and a half weeks of waiting so I finally got tired and because the symptoms were getting worse decided to visit the clinic and see another doctor about the migraine. There was nobody at the clinic when I went so I got to see the doctor in just a couple minutes. The front clerk asked why I needed to see the doctor and when I explained to her about how Dr. Ishfaq was supposed to follow up with me after the test results came in for a neurology consultan. She then asked me if I wanted the doc to go over the lab results with me and I said "Sure" because, why not?

So I get escorted into the examination room by a nurse and waited a couple minutes until Dr. Abukadhir (?) came in. Said he didn't see anything wrong with my lab data except that my iron was a little low but that's okay and said I was good to go. Legit took 1 minute to "examine" me and tried to leave, without asking why the test was done, what the problem was, has it been resolved etc. I would like to reiterate but the clinic was NOT busy today. So I had to stop him from leaving the room to tell him I originally was here and examined by Dr. Ishfaq blah blah blah..And the meds he prescribed me last time didn't control my symptoms at all. He interruptes me right there and asked how long I had this problem for and started to dig a little bit. Good. I answered as best as I can to all his questions and he said because I was having problems almost everyday he wanted to prescribe me another drug. I said I didn't want it because I've already tried a couple different drugs prescribed through other doctors but they all seemed to fail so I would have liked to get the neurologist exam before I started spending more $$$ (these migraine drugs are ridiculously expensive) but before I could ask to be set up with a neurologist, he said the drug he's trying to prescribe me is a totally different drug and that there were lots of drugs out there and I probably haven't tried this one. I finally was able to get out that I wanted to see a neurologist to ensure I wasn't dealing with something greater and Dr. Abukadhir rolled his eyes, threw up his hands and said "that's what you should have said to begin with then." I was shocked and I think I must have shot him a dirty look when he said this but it didn't stop him from saying, "that's easily done, you should have told me from the start when you came in" and turned it as if it was my fault for not disclosing the fact that I wanted to see the neurologist when I clearly explained to the front desk clerk and when I did try to tell him he cut me off and went on tangents. He then said he'd put in the referral and the neurologist will call me and left the room, did not come back. The "examination" was done. I escorted myself out of that building feeling disrespected, agitated, and with just a sour taste in my mouth.

As a person working in health care, it was frustrating to see doctors who bills per "procedure" and probably gets side money from his pharmaceutical companies was trying to do minimal work and push random drugs into me without knowing my full history. Yes, everyone wants to be efficient and make money with the least amount of work but as a health care worker, have some pride in your profession. People like Dr. Abukadhir give doctors a bad reputation when I clearly know there are some amazing doctors I've worked with that deserve every penny and beyond for their work with patients.

I have never received such poor health care service. When I arrived it said the wait time was 30 minutes and I ended up waiting over an hour before seeing the most incompetent doctor. Before the doctor came into my room the lady that brought me back asked me why I was there, I told her and then she started telling me the prescriptions I should ask the doctor for because he probably wouldn't know. At this point I was already feeling like I made a mistake in going to this walk-in but I waited for the doctor and he took me to his office to write me a prescription. After watching him search through a pocket sized book by the name of "bugs & drugs" to figure out what to prescribe me for 10 minutes I had lost all faith that I would receive any proper care. He then left me sitting in his office for another 10 minutes while he went to see another patient. When he came back he said he wanted to send me for lab tests so we needed to go back into the exam room so he could check a few more things. After this we go back into his office where I waited another 10 minutes for him to print me a lab requisition form (which I've never seen this take a doctor more than a minute). After spending a total of 45 minutes with him I went back out into the waiting room and there were now 15-20 people waiting because of the unnecessarily long time he spent with me. I will never be going back here and I sincerely hope that this doctor is able to improve his patient care.

Usually not a bad place to go but this evening was terrible. My wife took our 11 months old toldler in due to high ferver and swallen on her neck. Dr. Txxxxxx Mxxxxxxx was our physician. Once he looked at our kid, he asked us if its okay for him to look up the symtom on google (internet)...?! Once Google told him what it was, he asked if it was okay for him to call other doctors because he did not know what kinda of tests were needed to be done... ?! Really??!

Well, we are now at the Childrens' Hospital because we had no confidence in him....

Followed up: The doctor at the Children's Hospital said differently on the illness of our kid. I guess Google was not able to give Dr. TM all the answers. We didn't need to take her in get a Blood test or a urine sample. Yay.

The front desk personnel were professional, empathetic and helpful. Although it was very busy and a long wait to see a Doctor, Doctor Al was kind, a good listener and took action to get me back on track to good health.

I just got shut down at the westhills medicentre at 2:30pm. I went there because the website said they were open until 10 pm and the fat nurse said theyre closing early because it is slow... WHAT? Ive been procrastonating to go to the doctors because im SICK AND THIS IS what i have to deal with!? My family's been coming here for 20 years and the last 10 has been straight down hill. This place is a joke and i dont recommend it to anyone. They are lazy crooks that need to find a different profession.
