Terrible people to do business with! Really screwed me and my husband over. Shame shame.

Worst home builder I've ever dealt with.
I took possession of my home February 2015 and all of the outstanding seasonal work has been incomplete till today....

I would not recommend anyone to purchase from Westview. Once they have your money, good luck getting anything fixed/finished!

We had a problem with the wiring in our Westview home. Had to replace the electric hotwater tank three times. Hired an electrician - he found aluminum wiring going to the tank. Replaced all the wires and no problem since. Informed Westview of the fire hazard (water tanks nearly caught fire), and electrical hazard (risk of getting shock when removing the panel as breaker did not blow - the wires inside melted). Westview blew me off and said that aluminum wire is within the code - which it is - but only if it is connected to approved aluminum connectors - which - obviously it wasnt. I cant think of any reason why aluminum would be used instead of copper - other than it is cheaper, so if they are taking shortcuts in your electrical - where else might you find surprises? I would not recommend. House was built in 2010/2011 - if you are in a westview home check your wires coming out of the panel - if there is a grey one, its aluminum and could be a problem.

The seasonal work on my property has not been completed. I am still waiting for the front stone work and the front lawn to be completed. It is not looking like either piece of work will be completed before winter. I have sent emails and have made phone calls to Sales, Construction, and Warranty contacts at Westview and have not received any response which is quite frustrating as a new customer. It sounds like many others are having similar experiences. I am just looking for some form of timetable or communication - ignoring the customers who trusted you with the biggest purchase of their lives, and truly believed in your product is not the answer!
