We are locally owned by our 20, 000 plus members and employ approximately 250 local people.

Westview Co-Operative Description
The Westview Co-op has locations in the communities of Carstairs, Eagle Hill, Olds and Sundre. We have a Food store and Gas Bar in Carstairs, a Farm Supply store and consumer fuel in Eagle Hill and a Food store and Gas Bar in Olds. We have a cardlock located at the corner of Highway 2 and 27 near Olds, a cardlock located near the corner of Highway 27 and RR 4. 2 near Eagle Hill and a cardlock near the corner of Highway 27 and 22 north in Sundre. We also operate bulk delivery fuel trucks to bring fuel to you where you need it.

Thinking of saving some money by canning your own peaches this year? Just so you know, it takes about 5 good sizes peaches to fill a one quart jar. An average of 17 1/2 pounds is needed per canner load of 7 quarts, or about 11 pounds per canner load of 9 pint jars.

Nothing against our coop. This us an FYI on the McDonald's attached to it:
Made a huge food mistake on Saturday Sept 10. Agreed with Grandkids to McDonald's, then groceries at Coop. McDonald's - Not only was it well over 15 minutes to be waited on as third in line on arrival, they waited on the lady behind me on our turn. She only wanted coffee, but it was still rude. Well as least I had enough time to count the full fly strips hanging from the roof that Georgia pointed out. My attention was on the flies walking on the pastries inside the closed pastry case and watching grabbing them to fill orders. After ordering, got drinks, went to grab some ketchup. Came up with gross sticky fingures. Sat down to a table was awfully sticky. Went back and asked for a rag to clean the table. Girl was pissed, came did it, but missed the sticky spots and the sides that could have held up medium size dog! Okay, I realize she still had people 6 deep, but I would have hit the high points on the table myself! Then one of the two happy meals were wrong. A wrap does not look like a cheese burger. Back to the counter. Lady waiting on her order that was suppose to be up wasn't, but she had the wrap. That is a place I will NOT be going to again AND I usually have hit there in the morning once or twice a week. GROSSED out and boycotting!
