BOOK NEWS: John Grisham's new book, The RECKONING, will be released October 23, 2018.
Summary: October 1946, Clanton, Mississippi
Pete Banning was Clanton, Mississippi’s favorite son—a decorated World War II hero, the patriarch of a prominent family, a farmer, father, neighbor, and a faithful member of the Methodist church. Then one cool October morning he rose early, drove into town, walked into the church, and calmly shot and killed his pastor and friend, the Reverend Dexter Bell. As if the murder weren’t shocking enough, it was even more baffling that Pete's only statement about it—to the sheriff, to his lawyers, to the judge, to the jury, and to his family—was: "I have nothing to say." He was not afraid of death and was willing to take his motive to the grave.

FUN FACT: According to NASA, autumn is “aurora season” because geomagnetic storms are about twice as frequent as the annual average during the fall.

My kids and I have always enjoyed going to the Wetaskiwin Library, and will continue to do so. I personally thank those who work there for all they do. It is great to have a place in town that definitely can be enjoyed by all ages! Brightest blessings to you all ~ from a homeschool mom of 2.

It's the best library. With so many events for kids.My son loves it blindly especially the Lego sessions. He loves books a lot.The library staff is awesome. After coming here we never felt we are from a different culture or religion. Magic show was so great today. I have no words to say how good it was.The magician was so good kids and even with adults too.Everyone was rolling on floor with laughs.

I hope all the libraries become like this. Thanks a lot to the staff for making a library a happening place.
