Wicys Western Canada Affiliate

Women in Cybersecurity (WiCyS) Western Canada Affiliate is dedicated to bringing women in cybersecurity together to share knowledge and experience through networking, education and mentoring. WiCyS Western Canada is an affiliate of WiCyS (Global). Western Canada Affiliate was founded on March 1, 2021, with approval from WiCyS Global Board of Directors. Our mission is to create a community for all women who work in cybersecurity, have a desire to work in this space, or are avid supporters by encouraging participation in our events. WiCyS Global's core mission of recruiting, retaining and advancing women in the field of cybersecurity, at all levels, is accomplished through worldwide volunteer membership organizations. Our vision is to inspire women in Western Canada to use their voice, to break barriers, and impact the cybersecurity industry.
