Meet the Wieners! This is Lyvia. She’s from Raymond, Alberta and even though this is her first year working at Wieners, she is already becoming a vital part of the team. Her favourite thing to do in Waterton is hike to the top of Bertha Mountain (not for the faint of heart) and take in the amazing views from the peak. And when she makes it down, you’ll see her recovering with a cone of sweet potato fries and rosemary parmesan sauce to dip. If you haven’t guessed, she’s very athletic, and loves to play basketball and rugby when she’s not working at Wieners. In the fall, she is attending Mount Royal University majoring in massage. Meet the Wieners! This is Ruben. Ruben has worked at Wieners for FIVE years now! He started as support staff at the age of 16 and worked his way up to the very prestigious role of Grill Master (yes, it’s a thing). He’s from Leavitt, Alberta, and when he’s not working for Wieners, he’s a student at Lethbridge College, studying Geomatics. With his spare time, you’ll see him enjoying leisurely drives around town, admiring his favourite thing about Waterton—it’s trees. His top menu choice? The local smokie, fully loaded! Meet the Wieners! This is Kieyra. She has worked at Wieners for 4 years now and is such a ray of sunshine ☀️ She's from Cranbrook, BC, and when she's not working at Wieners she's traveling the world, teaching English, or running marathons (just completed her 3rd Banff marathon this summer!!) In the fall she plans to go to school for early childhood education and travel to either Africa or Cambodia and volunteer in orphanages.
Her favourite thing to do in Waterton is paddleboard (shoutout to @blakistonandcompany ) and when she's hungry, her go-to is the local smokie with special sauce, dill pickle, and potato chips.

Meet the Wieners! This is Enoch. Enoch is brand spanking new to the Wiener team this year and is already catching on quite nicely. He’s from Leavitt, Alberta and is leaving on a religious mission to Guam in October! He loves to climb mountains and his favourite thing to do in Waterton is hike the Crypt Lake Trail on a hot day and jump into the freezing cold water at the top.
He’s also a fisherman and once caught a 19lb Coho salmon on the west coast of Canada! If you ask him, the best thing on the menu are the sweet potato fries with chipotle and spicy mayo to dip. Welcome to the team, Enoch! @ Wieners of Waterton

Meet the Wieners! This is Taylor. She’s worked at Wieners for 2 years now and has been a fantastic addition to the team. She’s from Cardston, Alberta, but following the Wiener season, plans to move to California to start life on her own. When she’s not working, you’ll see her long-boarding around town or practicing her budding videographer skills. Her favourite menu item is the poutine—a Canadian classic. Who's ready to hike in Waterton this weekend?? "Parks Canada has reopened over 50 kilometres of previously closed trails and three backcountry campgrounds in Waterton Lakes National Park. Areas now reopened include the Bertha Falls, Bertha Lake, Crandell Lake Loop, Horseshoe Basin, and Lakeshore trails. The portion of the Red Rock Parkway open to non-motorized use (biking and hiking) has been extended – from Bellevue Trailhead to Coppermine Creek.
In addition, the Bertha Bay, Bertha Lake (pending snowmelt and assessment), and Boundary Bay backcountry campgrounds have also reopened"--Parks Canada website. Hip hip hooray!!

Meet Tanner! He's from Lethbridge, Alberta and has worked at Wieners for 3 years, this year taking on the arduous task of manager and absolutely rocking it! When he's not working at Wieners, he loves to travel the world and climb mountains. In fact, he has climbed EVERY peak in Waterton at least once 😳👏🏻
His favourite thing to do lately is ...kayak the lake, and he also jumps in every day..brrr!

We have been here many times since the year they opened and they never cease to amaze. Food is amazing, staff is amazing, atmosphere is amazing. Always our first stop in town when we come on vacation here.

This is a wonderful restaurant. The food is really great. The sweet potato fries are amazing! Staff is friendly and knowledgeable. It’s my favourite place to eat in Waterton.

The sweet potato fries were excellent and we loved the “Anti-dog.” Can’t wait to come back next year �

The local smoky was the best sausage I've ever had! and I agree with Kim, the sweet potato fries are awesome! What a great find at a beautiful location.

The anti dog is amazing!! We drive 1 hr each way for this goodness!! Gingered carrots, picked onions, tzatziki, and hummus are my fav toppings!

The Local Smokies with special sauce are the best dogs I have ever had! Don't be dissuaded by the short line, it's well worth it!!

Sometimes I drive to Waterton just to eat at Wieners. I love a good Nathan’s with special sauce, dill pickles, and a sprinkling of chips. My order regularly consists of a side of fried pickles and sweet potato fries with chipotle mayo sauce. Mmmmmm. Now I’m hungry.

I’m always greeted by happy servers. Bravo, friends. Bravo.

So good. I would have drove to Waterton just for your smokie with coleslaw and sauce. And the poutine was fantastic! We will definitely be back �

Nice to find a vegetarian item on the menu of the only place open in Waterton. Excellent falafel, coffee, and service.

Bar none, best service I've had in years! I was served by the owner of the business and he was amazing and had a real passion for his business. He is very proud that he supports local and I as a consumer was impressed with this! The food was killer & the coffee was amazing!

Great way to end a day of hiking in the winter.

It's the place to eat in Waterton. Delicious food for an excellent price! The sweet potato fries are my favorite.

I ate their on June 9th. Had a wicked awesome wiener...one of the best. Not sure the name of gent that served me...fantastic service and very interactive. It's not only food that makes a place but the service that comes along with it. Will be making this my must stop and eat wiener stop.

I am not a hot dog fan but wow! Great friendly service, dogs done on a grill and delicious toppings! I finally found a hotdog to love.

Had the Nathsn dog. Very good. Grilled onion would be a nice option. Great lemonade, not too sweet, great dipping sauces for fries.

Great place for awesome food. I'm really not a hotdog guy. As in, I'll have reservations about eating a hotdog during summer barbeques or straight off a campfire in the woods. But these far exceed the class of dogs you typically find, and nothing holds me back from eating them too quickly.

Best weiners ever!!!! Smokies are pretty awesome too...but the sweet potatoes fries are to die for 😍 Spicey mayo and rosemary parmesan is a must for the dip❣️
