We were there for the Pow Wow this past weekend ... been to it a few times now and its so beautiful! We are grateful for the chance to be there - a feast fir all our senses. The people are amazing, funny, warm and welcoming.

WIIKWEMKOONG is my hometown and each time I go back it just amazes me how rapid our beautiful rez has boomed. When I pull up to Monument Hill my heart has an overwhelming sense of happiness. Vern is home �

Having come here a few times now I am greatly impressed by the dignity and respectful way this page is presented. I only wish that I had visited before I left the states forever. Maybe one day I will return, when the water runs clear and the animals tread the forests and the white man has seen his errors. Love and peace to my brothers and sisters.
